The lucky woman bought a 100X Cash ticket for just ten bucks at a Family Food Mart in Mansfield. When she scratched it off, Wilson realized that she had the lucky ticket. This was her second win in just ten weeks, a feat that many never even get once. The store that sold the ticket will get a whopping sum of $10,000. 

Her first win was just ten weeks earlier, on February 23rd, 2024. It was also for a $1 million prize, but the ticket cost a higher price of $50 and from Lifetime Millions. She got $650,000 after taxes and put some of the money into purchasing an SUV. Wilson took the option of getting all her money at once. For her second win, she put the earnings into her savings.

The store where Wilson got her first ticket was Dubs’s Discount Liquors in Mansfield, Ohio. Just like the first store, Dubs’s Discount Liquors will also receive $10,000 for selling the lucky Lifetime Millions ticket. The package store not only sells lottery tickets but also sells wine and other types of liquor to its many customers.

What are the odds of winning the lottery not once but twice? This is no easy feat as the overall odds of winning the top Lifetime Millions prize once are 1 in 8,400,000. The overall odds are 1 in 4.10. For the second win, the odds of winning the 100X Cash second top prize are 1 in 1,612,800. The overall odds for this stand at 1 in 3.47.

Wilson has now joined the ranks of the prestigious lottery “double-winners,” the only people in the world to have won a lottery twice in their lifetime. One of the most recent stories in the U.S. was about a Michigan man who won his state lottery twice in less than a year. Both wins were for a $110,000 cash prize. He won the first in August 2023 and the second in February this year.

While the cash prize for some of the winners is significantly less than Wilson’s, it still shows that they have great luck. The couple won two $1 million prizes from two different tickets for the country’s Lotto game. The woman in the duo said she had been using the same numbers for decades, hoping her luck would shine someday.
