Tom Brady Opens Up About His Appearance on “The Greatest Roast of All Time”

In the aftermath of the Netflix roast “The Greatest Roast of All Time,” there have been comments by various people. In today’s story, the main participant, Tom Brady, has spoken about the impact of the roast on his life. He has expressed regret about the event, which he believes offended his kids.

Brandy is a former NFL quarterback, often dubbed the greatest of all time. He spent 23 seasons in the league and won seven Super Bowls. He played for the New England Patriots for his first 20 seasons before moving to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Brady faced much criticism on many topics at Kevin Hart’s May 5 show. The sensitive topics include his divorce from his ex-wife, Gisele Bündchen, his looks, his two retirements, and his investment in FTX.

He spoke about it in an edition of The Pivot Podcast featuring Channing Crowder, Ryan Clark, and Fred Taylor, which was released on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. Brady claimed that his family has not taken well to the jokes about his divorce.

He said he thought it was funny when the jokes were about him. He did, however, express disapproval of how they impacted his children.

Throughout the evening, there was a lot of roast fodder about Brady and Bündchen’s divorce. However, Brady was constantly seen sipping his drink whenever the subject came up.

Together, they had two children, Vivian, 11, and Benjamin, 14, before jointly officially separating in October 2022. Brady claimed that the roast hadn’t gone as planned and that he suddenly realized this.

He described it as the bittersweet feeling that comes from acting on what you initially believed to be one way. Then suddenly, you realize that the people you care about the most in the world were the ones who hurt the most, and that’s why he would not do it again.

He said it was a valuable lesson for him as a parent, pledging to himself that he would be a better dad in the future.

As the NFL’s top quarterback for 23 years, Brady won seven Super Bowl rings: six with the New England Patriots and one with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. In addition, he has three NFL MVP honors and five Super Bowl MVP nominations.

He made his initial retirement announcement in February 2022. However, he changed his mind and played one more season for the Bucs before announcing his formal retirement last year.

Brady finally got the chance to defend himself after the roast, claiming that people had questioned him about why he had accepted the invitation.
