Katy Perry, the songstress, is opening up about motherhood and the changes it brought about in her work life.

Since becoming a mother, singer, and television personality, Katy Perry has experienced changes in her career and personal life.

In a recent interview, the 35-year-old discussed some of her experiences since welcoming her daughter, Daisy Dove. She also shared details about her journey through motherhood and how she learned to combine it with her career.

Perry explained that her life has been amazing since she welcomed her daughter. Landing the opportunity to explore her career once again made the process more fulfilling.

Although working meant spending less time with Daisy, the songstress finds a way to create a balance. Speaking on the experience so far and how it has affected her reality, she said:

“My life just feels very full and whole. And you know, it’s hard a little bit. These first couple of days away and not being able to be there.”

To the singer who recently returned to her role as a judge on “American Idol,” having to work while parenting an infant was something to be grateful for. It gave her the chance to become an inspiration to other people eager to pursue their dreams.

Katy Perry welcomed Daisy Dove Bloom on August 27 and returned to her career barely a month later. Admittedly, achieving that feat was possible thanks to the support of her fiancé and Daisy’s father, Orlando Bloom.

We know we’re the lucky ones

The couple announced their daughter’s birth shortly after her arrival, sharing a black-and-white photo of their fingers wrapped up in the newborn’s tiny fingers.

They shared the news on the Unicef website, expressing how lucky they were for giving birth safely and without complication amid the coronavirus pandemic. Perry and Bloom, who were Unicef Goodwill Ambassadors, went on to repost the lengthy announcement on social media. It began:

“We are floating with love and wonder from the safe and healthy arrival of our daughter. But we know we’re the lucky ones because not everyone can have a birthing experience as peaceful as ours was.”

Earlier this week, Perry’s fiancé, Orlando Bloom, gushed about the newborn and her growing phases on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show.”

He recounted how Daisy looked more like him at birth. But as time went by, the little one began adopting some of her mom’s features, including her eyes.

The surprising development has left the couple confused about their daughter’s looks.

Not like it mattered, though, as the doting parents are more concerned with ensuring Daisy enjoys their love and attention to the fullest.
