In celebrity news, a new picture is trending, leading to certain speculations and rumors. Pedro Pascal and Dakota Johnson were seen kissing passionately on the streets of New York on a Wednesday afternoon last week.
Johnson softly locked lips during the filming of an outdoor sequence. She also accessorized her appearance with a neat, straight hairdo. Pascal kissed Johnson back, keeping one hand on his waist. Pascal was dressed in a tan blazer and brown dress shirt, and Johnson was wearing a leather jacket over a white tee.
When the picture of the two locking lips went viral, people naturally thought this was the beginning of a new Hollywood romance. However, it turned out to be only a movie moment.
They were spotted making out in TriBeCa while the filming of “Materialists,” a new romantic comedy, is ongoing and directed by Celine Song. Song’s first feature film, “Past Lives,” was nominated for Best Picture this year.

The movie “Materialists” centers on the relationship between a woman and her three suitors: a wealthy guy, her ex, and a matchmaker. The movie is rather star-studded, boasting heavyweights such as Chris Evans, Zoë Winters, Dasha Nekrasova, Louisa Jacobson, and Marin Ireland.
According to sources, “Materialists” recently started filming in New York in late April. Although a release date has not yet been set, A24 is handling distribution for the film.
To add to the intrigue, Johnson was spotted filming a scene with Costar Evans around a week ago. The two were also seen kissing in a few paparazzi pictures taken during the production. To put it mildly, “Materialists” is going to be a spicy movie.

“Madame Web,” a superhero movie starring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, was just released. Evans recently finished “Red Ones,” an action-comedy set around Christmas that will be in cinemas on November 15.
Pascal, in the meantime, has a lot on his plate. He recently wrapped up shooting “Gladiator II” in January and is now starring in “Tropico,” a noir thriller that just started production in April.

Not much is known about the movie as of yet. However, IMDb says it’s about a matchmaker whose career turns problematic when she gets into a toxic love triangle.
