Marjorie Taylor Greene is one of the better-known politicians who gets a lot of criticism on social media. She came under fire last week for commenting on NYC’s evacuation of schools for migrants.
It happened on X, formerly known as Twitter, where she reposted a concise summary by Fox News correspondent Bill Melugin. The summary sheds more light on the situation where students in NYC now have to observe remote learning to accommodate migrants temporarily.
Fox News correspondent Bill Melugin’s tweet reads: “Students in NYC are being kicked out of their high school and pushed into remote learning in order to temporarily house almost 2,000 migrants who crossed into the US illegally & have been released from federal custody.”
Melugin called it “a jaw-dropper,” and Greene seems to agree. She captioned the repost with words of her own, labeling it “beyond ridiculous and outrageous.” She also took the opportunity to reaffirm her commitment to impeaching President Joe Biden and Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas.

“This is beyond ridiculous and outrageous!! This is what being conquered looks like!! By our own government!!” Marjorie Taylor Greene wrote, adding, “IMPEACH MAYORKAS!! IMPEACH BIDEN!!”
Unfortunately, netizens did not rally behind the congresswoman’s virtual war cry. After Greene expressed her outrage on X regarding the news in New York City, replies quickly flew in. One tweep wrote, “Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!! Guess the box of wine hit hard tonight,” while another wrote, “Wah wah cry about it LMFAO.”
“EXPEL GREENE,” exclaimed one netizen, and another echoed the sentiment, writing, “Impeach MTG…”
One user even went as far as suggesting that the republican party member impeach herself. And another called her an “incredibly gullible” person.

In addition to this, earlier, Greene also revealed to the media and her followers on X that the impeachment hearing against Alejandro Mayorkas will kick off soon.
She wrote about how she has worked for months to impeach Secretary Mayorkas, mentioning how she forced a vote on the House floor after the murder of two constituents by 17-year-old trafficking illegals.
“It’s encouraging we’ll finally be starting this process tomorrow in the Homeland Security committee,” Greene wrote. Greene is not everyone’s favorite Republican. Aside from the trolling she gets from netizens on social media, Greene also faces bullying in reality.

For example, her house endured swatting at least 8 times, with one happening just before the new year. Swatting happens when a random person falsely reports a crime in progress to draw police to a certain location.
Given her status in the community, cops respond promptly, usually by alerting her security team. The last one that happened saw the team reassure the cops all was well and that they did not need to make the trip to her house.
