According to reports, in February 2024, Cory Althoff, Althoff’s former husband, filed a divorce petition with the Los Angeles Court. Cory and Althoff’s divorce was finalized a couple of weeks after Cory filed it. However, the Althoffs did not give a reason for their separation, and they eventually divorced. According to the divorce filing, it was reported that the couple had a separation on July 4, 2023.
When the divorce was finalized, Althoff released a statement addressing the topic. However, Althoff has issued a warning to everyone, saying that nobody should talk about her divorce without knowing the circumstances that caused it. Taking to her Instagram platform, she uploaded to her story a comment made on her Instagram account that read, “Damn, get divorced, choosing fame over your ex-husband just to get passed around by different guys weekly.”

Reacting to the comet, Althoff responded in a three-paragraph statement. Althoff stated that this is not the first time that she has received a message like this. Additionally. Althoff claimed that since February 2024, after news of her divorce hit the media, she has been getting messages like that a million times in a single day.

However, Althoff is now saying she has grown weary of such comments and that it is time to stop. Althoff wrote in her statement that “anyone who says stuff like this is so f**king ignorant.” “You don’t know why my marriage ended or why we are both so much happier apart than we were ever together.” Additionally, Althoff said getting divorced was for their kids, and their children would get to see two happy parents instead of none.
In another Instagram post, Althoff inquired whether they thought it was her dream to be divorced at the age of 25 with two daughters. Althoff responded that, of course, she never wanted to, but she was still insecure about how her marriage ended. Additionally. Althoff said that she wishes that things had been different, but that’s just how life is.
