The second wedding anniversary of Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck came around. However, the couple seems to have marked their anniversary away from each other.

Jennifer Lopez Stays in New York for Her Second Anniversary

On July 16, 2024, 54-year-old Lopez was seen in Hampton, New York, riding her bicycle. This comes after Lopez had just recently returned from a trip to Europe alone. July 16, 2024, makes it 2 years since Affleck and Lopez got married in a small ceremony. 

On July 16, 2022, Lopez and Affleck married in Las Vegas, surrounded by just their close friends and family. Subsequently, in August 2022, they had a second wedding in Georgia with the same guest list. Consequently, it was surprising that Lopez chose to spend such a special day away from her husband. 

For the first time since Lopez and Affleck got together, there has been over a month without seeing them together. Over the past few weeks, there have been rumors of Lopez and Affleck having marital problems. Additionally, while Lopez was in New York, Affleck was in Los Angeles.

Lopez wore a white overall with brown sandals and arranged her hair in a loose bun while riding. Subsequently, Lopez’s manager, Benny Medina, was driving her while the actress sat in the passenger seat of the vehicle. In Los Angeles. Affleck was seen wearing a black suit as he entered his office in Los Angeles.

Ben Affleck Stays on the West Coast

For most of the summer of 2024, Affleck stayed in California, missing the opportunity to attend events with Lopez. Affleck did not appear with Lopez for either the Met Gala or Lopez’s recent movie premiere. According to reports, the reason behind this was because Affleck was filming The Accountant 2. Affleck remains in Los Angeles after the film finishes filming, even after the Fourth of July holiday.

The news of their marriage comes just days after they listed their home, amidst news of tension in their marriage. Earlier in July 2024, Affleck and Lopez put up their house in Beverly Hills.

However, neither Lopez nor Affleck have addressed the rumors surrounding their marriage. Affleck was seen wearing his wedding ring on their anniversary as he entered the building. However, in June 2024, a source close to the couple stated that they didn’t have any plans together for the ceremony.

In 2023,  for their first anniversary, Lopez posted wedding selfies with Affleck on her Instagram. She captioned the post, writing, “One year since our Midnight Trip To Vegas, Go to On The JLo for a special surprise… #ThisIsMeNow.”

After Lopez broke up with Alex Rodriguez and Affleck’s divorce from Ana de Armas, the two were seen together. On April 30, 2024, Page Six revealed that Affleck had been seen several times at Lopez’s Los Angeles residence.

Following their surprise wedding, the couple took their kids and flew out to Paris for a bright summer vacation. Throughout their time in the city, the new Mr. and Mrs. Affleck were spotted going on romantic walks in parks and private outings.

Following their July 16, 2022, wedding, the couple attempted to integrate their families.

Sources continued that the couple intends to focus on their own lives regardless of each other. Although Violet Affleck, Affleck’s 18-year-old daughter, was seen with Lopez in the Hamptons. Lopez and Violet were also seen taking a ride together, both on bikes and in Lopez’s car. When asked, an inside source stated that Lopez and Violet enjoy each other’s company.
