To popular rapper 50 Cent, the world might be coming to an end soon. The rapper had taken to social media to express his disbelief about the donation Donald Trump received following his hush money trial.
On Thursday, May 31, 2024, Trump was found guilty on all 34 counts of falsifying business records in a criminal court. This historic verdict has made Trump the first U.S. president to have a criminal record. Although an appeal is expected after the sentence is delivered on July 11, 2024.
However, the court decision does not seem to have deterred his supporters. According to the former president’s son Eric Trump, Trump’s Campaign donations generated $200 million following the verdict. Eric has claimed the information was given to him by his wife, Lara Trump, who is the co-chairman of the Republican National Committee.
According to Eric, out of the $200 million that was generated, $70 million came from small supporters’ donations. This news was however, not received well by Curtis Jackson III popularly known as 50 Cent, who took to social media to express his disappointment.
