This could be the start of something new for Vanessa Hudgens!
Walking the red carpet at the 2024 Oscars on Sunday, March 10, 2024, the 35-year-old “High School Musical” alum debuted her baby bump. The multi-talented actress revealed she is expecting her first baby with her husband, Cole Tucker, in style.
Hudgens, hosting ABC’s official Oscars red carpet pre-show, was all smiles. She donned a floor-length black turtleneck dress with silver jewelry. With her hair pulled back into a high ponytail, Hudgens posed with her hands over her abdomen.
As she posed for photos and did interviews on the carpet, the expectant mom cradled her bump with her hands. She smiled throughout as congratulations flooded in from people. Also, she arrived on the Vanity Fair red carpet in a sheer black dress that further accentuated her bump.

Before the event, the “Bad Boys for Life” actor hadn’t publicly announced her pregnancy. Hence, the bold reveal sent social media into a frenzy as many expressed surprise. In December 2023, Hudgens married baseball player Cole Tucker in a jungle wedding in Tulum, Mexico, per Vogue Magazine.
The star shared exclusive photos and details of their intimate wedding ceremony in an interview with Vogue. She told the publication that the ceremony occurred at Azulik City of Arts. The couple exchanged their vows in an art installation “surrounded by nature, greenery, and foliage.”
“Writing my own vows was important to me,” Hudgens told Vogue in an interview. “I would also say to everyone: Write your own vows and read them.” She added, “It is the most beautiful thing ever in a relationship to be that open and vulnerable.”

Vanessa Hudgens revealed in a 2021 interview that they met on a Zoom meditation led by monk-turned-lifestyle-podcaster Jay Shetty. And the rest, they say, is history. Years later, Hudgens and Tucker announced their engagement in February 2023 on Instagram, writing, “YES. We couldn’t be happier.”
The High School Musical alum showed off her sparkling, emerald-cut engagement ring in the Instagram post. Since their December 2023 wedding, Hudgens has shared several pictures of the two. These include the happy couple golfing on Christmas and another shot for Valentine’s Day in February 2024.
“I am yours, and you are mine. Forever my valentine,” she captioned the Valentine’s Day post. Before the huge reveal, Vanessa Hudgens and Tucker made their red carpet debut in 2021. The two attended the premiere of her Netflix movie “Tick, Tick…BOOM!” in November 2021 in Hollywood, California.

Hudgens wore a white lace dress by Vera Wang for the night, while Tucker opted for a sleek black suit. Since going public with their relationship, the pair has not been shy about posting with each other on social media. Their PDA has been a staple in their relationship and has gotten a lot of media attention.
Before marrying the baseball player, Vanessa Hudgens was in an eight-year relationship with actor Austin Butler. The former couple reportedly met in 2005 and started dating in 2011. However, the two called it quits in 2020 after almost a decade together.
