More particularly, they are concerned about the Biden administration’s economic policy, popularly called Bidenomics.

President Joe Biden did a lot of campaigning in Pennsylvania in the build-up to the 2020 elections. Most analysts say that he owes his presidential win to his victory in his swing state. However, many Scranton residents are no longer as impressed with President Biden’s Bidenomics.

Robert Jones, a resident of Scranton, told Fox News Digital that, “This economy sucks. I mean, everything’s going up except paychecks. I just think the economy sucks ever since Biden got in.” He also said that he thought Biden is the worst president Americans have ever had. Jones now supports former President Donald Trump in the 2024 presidential race.

“I don’t look at the economy through the eyes of Wall Street and Park Avenue. I look at it through the eyes of the people I grew up with in Scranton, Pennsylvania or Claymont, Delaware,” Biden said to United Auto Workers at the Community Building Complex in Illinois in November.

Biden has supported workers and workers’ unions, and Americans have praised his efforts to improve their work life. However, his economic plan, Bidenomics, has not succeeded so far. Although it is aimed to help the working class, Democrats say that they are yet to experience any significant improvement.

Democrats across America have not been silent about their grievances either. “I don’t think any of them see through the eyes of the people. I think all of them see it through the eyes of Washington,” local resident Kevin told Fox News. He said that the economy has only gotten worse over the years. Also, Kevin said that he has not made up his mind about who to vote for in the forthcoming election. “I’m a registered Democrat, but I’m not happy,” he added.
