Marco Garibaldi and Priscilla Presley’s Relationship
Garibaldi and Priscilla Presley met in 1983 through mutual friends and dated for 22 years before they went their separate ways in 2006. However, despite how long they were together, little is known about their relationship, and they avoided the spotlight as much as possible.
While their relationship thrived, the couple shared a close bond but never made any moves to consummate things with a marriage. Three years after they started dating, her spokesman, Paul Bloch, revealed they were expecting a child and called Garibaldi her fiancé.
Lisa Marie Presley, Priscilla’s daughter from her marriage to Elvis Presley, her first husband, approved their relationship and supported them when she learned of the pregnancy. She even went as far as enrolling in Lamaze classes alongside her mother as a form of bonding.
When the time came for the baby’s arrival, Lisa was present in the delivery room. They welcomed Navarone, her half-brother, in 1987.
Meanwhile, Priscilla wanted her relationship with Garibaldi to last as long as possible. She said: “You have to get out of bad experiences. You have to move on.”
Unfortunately, the couple split in 2006 without revealing what had caused it. The latter part of their relationship also remained private.
What Ethnicity Is Marco Garibaldi?
Marco Garibaldi was born in Palmi, Calabria, Italy. He initially claimed to be of Italian ethnicity; however, that later turned out to be a lie. It has since been established that he is Brazilian by race.
Marco Garibaldi and Priscilla Presley Kids
Garibaldi and Priscilla welcomed a son while they were together. He was named Navarone and was born in 1987. Navarone is all grown up now and, like his parents, is a skilled entertainer with a career as a musician.
In 2013, he founded the band “Them Guns” and wrote some of their songs apart from singing and playing the guitar. He is also happily married. The talented singer tied the knot on February 15, 2022, with Elisa Achilli in Switzerland. The ceremony went down at Schloss Hunigen Hotel, attended by their friends and family, including the groom’s mother.
Navarone had an older sister, Lisa Marie Presley, who passed away in January 2023 after a cardiac arrest at 54. Her lifeless body was discovered in her bedroom before her ex-husband, Danny Keough, performed CPR.
Lisa was taken to the hospital and passed on flanked by mom and daughter after an induced coma. Priscilla Presley would later reveal that Lisa died from the same disease that killed her father, Elvis.
Navarone felt her demise keenly and took to social media to express himself. He wrote:
“Big sister… I hope you are now at peace and happy with your Dad and your son by your side. I know the past couple of years weren’t easy for you, and I wish things had been different between us.”
He concluded: “Regardless, you are my sister, and I’m sending love and prayers for your journey home. I still can’t believe this; I’m lost for words. Love you, sis. Beijos.”
Lisa Marie Presley’s death shocked many after it was revealed. It’s been some time since it happened, but those who loved her still mourn the loss as keenly as if it were yesterday.
