Fans of the famous American TV series “Game of Thrones” will continue to witness the romance between on-screen couple Kit Harington and Rose Leslie– only this time, it will be in real time.
Falling in love on set has been a thing for a long time, and this was how Kit Harrington and Leslie Rose formed a connection. The duo starred on HBO’s “Game of Thrones,” and built something deeper than TV chemistry.

Harrington and Leslie’s Love Story
While Harington and Leslie’s love is well-known amongst fans, it is pretty interesting to know that the Scottish actress already had feelings for Harington before “Game of Thrones.” Leslie once said during an interview in 2016:
“If you’re already attracted to someone, and then they play your love interest in the show, it becomes very easy to fall in love.”
Leslie showed up on the HBO hit series during its second season and lasted till the fourth season. The actress and co-star Harington started dating a short while after. And a series of interviews proved the couple’s admiration for each other.
In an interview, Harington (Jon Snow) praised Leslie’s incredible acting skills, calling her a “brilliant actor.” However, he added that he would have fallen in love with the actress even if she was the “worst actor in the world.”
The Romance Deepened
The couple relationship speculations began when they worked together in 2011 after the two were spotted in different red carpet events. However, reports showed that the couple had some issues with their relationship in 2013.
Some months later, the lovebirds were seen leaving Los Angeles Airport together for the Comic-Con convention, which sparked reconciliation rumors. They finally cleared all speculations when they made their relationship official in 2016.
Harington proposed to Leslie’s in 2017, and he invited all “Game of Thrones” cast for his wedding. After the pair said their vows, they bought a family home in England together.

Recent news reports revealed that Harington and Leslie, both 34, have expanded their family. According to Harington’s representative Marianna Shafran, the couple has already welcomed their first child together– baby boy.
Before the HBO series final episodes in 2019, Harington gave hints about becoming a father when speaking on his job. He explained that the most important job he had was almost completed before he added:
“Well, not the most. Hopefully, I’ll be a father.”
A series of reports have confirmed that the couple is thrilled to be parents. The stars were spotted in London holding hands while Leslie carried the newborn in a carrier.
The happy mom first announced her pregnancy with a photo of her baby bump in a magazine. She also explained in an interview that she was “thrilled to be expecting” and couldn’t wait to see her baby.
