Katy Perry’s outfit has been a topic of discussion among fans on social media, with many expressing their opinions. The popular musician attended Paris Fashion Week in a stunning Balenciaga outfit.
On Wednesday, June 26, 2024, 39-year-old Katy Perry appeared at Balenciaga’s Fall 2024 Haute Couture Runway Show. Perry was seen wearing a large fur coat on top of black, ripped jeans. The fur coat she wires was opened, showing her bare chest. Additionally, she wore sunglasses that matched her outfit, while her hair was styled into braids and slicked back.
When responding to questions at the fashion show, Perry gave an insight into her outfit and the inspiration behind it. Perry said as the event was the first Balenciaga Couture show she had attended she wanted something unique. She stated that although she had some options she picked this outfit but it was simple but classy.
She said that she wanted to wear her tights just right above her c-section scar, and that was the lowest she was going to wear them. Perry shares a 3-year-old daughter named Daisy with her partner, Orlando Bloom.

As she spoke about her dress, she drew attention to her stomach a few times, pointing to the scar left behind by her daughter’s birth. Additionally, she said, “Well, this is where I birthed a child, so everyone can just…” before holding up a peace sign.
In response to her outfit and her interview, several people have taken to X to voice their opinions about the dress. An X user tweeted that Perry was never big on fashion, and that is fine. Another user had simply tweeted, “Girl, what is this?”

While some people were shocked by her choice of outfit, others compared it with that of Bianca Censori. Censori is known for going out in public in semi-nude outfits. Censori got married to Kanye West in October 2023, following West’s divorce from Kim Kashadian.
Another X user had called Perry’s choice of outfit the Bianca Censori effect. Subsequently, users agreed to the claims, with one user replying to an earlier comment that Censori was on everyone’s radar. Some people were taken aback by the outfit, but others were impressively taken with it.

A supporter of the outfit tweeted that Perry was very fashionable and knew how to impress. Additionally, another fan said, “THIS LOOK IS EVERYTHING KATY.” A third comment said that she looked very good.
Perry made waves in a different ensemble as well when she arrived at Paris Fashion Week. She was wearing a crimson dress with an incredibly lengthy train measuring 600 feet in length. On June 25, 2024, Perry wore a Balenciaga dress at the Ritz Paris with lyrics from her upcoming single. Perry’s new song is scheduled to be released on July 11, 2024.
