Emma Chamberlain has become a Met Gala regular at the age of twenty-two. The YouTuber turned fashion enthusiast and business person made a comeback to the city Museum of Art for the most anticipated evening in fashion. She was wearing a dark brown lace Jean Paul Gaultier gown with a gothic vibe that she called (dark twist) as the outfit for the program.
In line with the theme for the year program Sleeping Beauties- Reawakening Fashion, she tailored her outfit to resonate with the entirety and ambiance of the moment. This year’s event marks the fourth time Emma will feature in. She also returned to her position as Vogue honored representative to the celebrity filled occasion.
There’s something wonderful, almost magical, about this topic. Emma told Vogue that tackling nature’s darker side was exciting. According to her, the ambiance was in (swampy mode) and I also see it as an avenue of welcoming myself to adulthood in fashion.
Vogue claims that it took forty hours to create the gothic design. Also, the Chantilly lace corseted garment required (transparent supports and lace inlays), and it took 4 seamstresses approximately six hundred hours to complete.

A chocolate-colored lace corset from Jean Paul Gaultier’s 2023 runway show served as the primary source of motivation. Though sharper than the Emma Met Gala outfit, the garment was delicate and flowery, according to Gaultier promoter Maria Eugenia Perez Pinaud, who spoke with Vogue.
The outfit’s varied pieces resemble ferns and brambles, which are themes seen in an apocalyptic garden, according to Perez Pinaud. Emma completed her outfit with a Cartier watch and a piece of diamond jewelry.

Chamberlain has attended the Met Gala before now. She premiered in 2021, looking exquisite in a Louis Vuitton gold outfit. The following year, she made a comeback, putting on an additional Louis Vuitton collection, resonating the theme of the occasion, which was (Gilded Glamour).
In 2022, she returned to wearing Louis Vuitton but also added some glittering pieces from the well-known French jewelry line Cartier. According to Jean-Paul, who spoke with Vogue about it, the collection is upgraded with some extra fabrics and open with satin whalebones, a blocked knit foundation, and lace on top.

After her humorous discussion with the musician Jack Harlow at the 2022 Gala, Emma became quite the center of the evening and followers enjoyed them getting along. Their second meeting at the 2023 Gala flashed even greater enthusiasm with fans.
Emma decided to spice things up this year by wearing two distinct designs courtesy of Miu Miu. Bella also spent time with her buddy Kendall Jenner. Jenner and Emma previously worked together on a project involving their companies.
