The 47th president of the United States of America, Donald Trump, may be embroiled in another controversy. His name appears in Jeffrey Epstein flight log. According to the logs released by his own Attorney General Pam Bondi, Trump flew with his then-wife Marla Maples and daughter Tiffany with Epstein twice.
According to PEOPLE, a review of the flight logs shows Trump’s name seven times. He was mentioned on page 24 of the first flight log, dated October 11, 1993. The flight logs also mentioned Trump twice on page 27, along with his then-wife, Marla Maples. It also showed their daughter Tiffany Trump and a nanny on May 15, 1994.
On three of the dates, “JE,” presumably Jeff Epstein, was listed on the same flights as Trump. The flight logs also show GM, possibly Ghislane Maxwell, listed as a passenger on the October 1993 flight.
The files’ release on Thursday, February 27, comes after AG Bondi announced it on Fox News. She mentioned that the Justice Department was set to release flight logs and names of people associated with Jeffrey Epstein.

“What you’re going to see … is a lot of flight logs, a lot of names, a lot of information,” Bondi said to Fox News Host Jesse Watters before the release of the files. “But, it’s pretty sick what that man did, along with his co-defendant.” According to Bondi, Epstein had over 250 alleged victims.
“The first phase of files released today sheds light on Epstein’s extensive network and begins to provide the public with long overdue accountability,” Bondi said in a statement on Thursday. Flight logs, an evidence list, redacted pages from a contact book, and redacted pages of a masseuse list are among the first materials released.
However, much of the files had been previously disclosed through court cases or otherwise. While President Trump’s appearance on the Epstein flight logs may not be an indication of wrongdoing, it raises a lot of questions. Also, most of the individuals listed were presumably on Epstein’s plane for legitimate business, political, or social reasons.
Like Trump, a New York Times article disclosed that Bill Gates and Jeffrey Epstein met in 2011. However, in a recent interview with The Wall Street Journal, Bill Gates opened up about his encounter with Jeffrey Epstein, referring to their conversations as “a huge mistake.” “In retrospect, I was foolish to spend any time with him,” the billionaire said.
“And he sort of got time with various people by spending time with other people. So yes, I think I was quite stupid. I thought it would help me with global health philanthropy. In fact, it failed to do that; it was just a huge mistake,” Gates added.

In 2019, Epstein died by suicide in a New York City jail while awaiting trial on federal conspiracy and sex trafficking charges. He had ties to high-profile figures like Prince Andrew, Bill Clinton, and Trump prior to his arrest. Neither Clinton nor Trump has been accused of any wrongdoing. Trump has said that he once considered Epstein a “terrific guy,” but that they later had a falling out.
According to reports, Epstein’s network allegedly centered on paying teenage girls and young women to engage in sexual acts. However, they engaged in sexual acts with wealthy financiers and other powerful men under the guise of massage therapy.
According to a federal indictment, Epstein was accused of trafficking girls as young as 14. He faced a 45-year prison sentence. The financier previously pleaded guilty to soliciting a person under 18 for prostitution in 2008. He served just over a year in prison. In 2024, the media was thrown into a frenzy after the court unsealed another batch of documents about the late sex offender.
The unsealed documents had the names of over 150 people. This includes prominent celebrities, politicians, and renowned personalities in legal proceedings related to Epstein and his network. Hence, Trump’s appearance in the recently released Epstein’s flight logs has sparked controversy, with many curious about the President’s relationship with the late sex offender.
