Louisa Jacobson will be having a blast this Valentine. The 33-year-old has revealed how she and her partner will spend February 14, 2025. But it’s not what you think. Meryl Streep’s daughter let the cat out of the bag during a recent event hosted by a human rights advocacy group.
Louisa Jacobson and her partner will be dancing for 2025 Valentine’s Day. Speaking with People magazine, she also revealed the specific kind of music they will be vibing to. “I’m going dancing on Valentine’s Day!” she declared. She also named “fun techno house” music as her preferred tune.
Jacobson was speaking during a dinner by the Human Rights Campaign (HRC). The HRC, which is America’s largest lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ+) civil rights organization, gave her the Visibility Award. This was in recognition of her positive representation of the LGBTQ+ community.
Jacobson, who came out publicly in June 2024, has impressed the HRC by being a sterling example of the LGBTQ+ community both on and off the screen. Meryl Streep’s daughter also had a chance to motivate the community through her acceptance speech. In her remarks, she touched on the power of visibility and originality.

“As an actor, I’ve learned that the most powerful performances happen when the actor allows themselves to be revelatory — when they drop the mask and stand in the raw truth of who they are. It’s the same in life,” she advised. “The moments where we drop the mask and allow ourselves to be seen, those are the moments when we truly connect with others.”
Is Louisa Jacobson Married?
Meryl Streep’s daughter, Louisa Jacobson isn’t married. The actress is, however, in a relationship with Anna Blundell. “The Gilded Age” star announced the relationship in June 2024. The post came with the caption, “Blessed to be entering the Joyful New Era bb” alongside a burning red heart emoji plus an emoji of the pride flag. Jacobson did something similar on June 5. In another post, she shared multiple photos of her and Blundell including one where they held hands.
Meryl Streep’s daughter hasn’t been ashamed of her LGBTQ+ identity. She has flaunted it proudly everywhere she went after admitting that she had tried a number of straight relationships in the past. The graduate of Yale School of Drama spoke more about her coming out journey at the HRC dinner. She also expressed surprise at her award.
“It means everything to be honored,” she stated. “I am so, so grateful and thankful to the HRC. I was surprised because I had only recently come out. It’s such a brilliant opportunity to speak about visibility and what it means to this community and what it means to me.”
Jacobson also acknowledged the help she has received from the industry. She said she was lucky to be “in a community of artists who also identify as LGBTQ, so it’s just a warm, lovely welcome that I am blessed to have, and I don’t take that for granted.” Her fellow awardees, such as Dylan Mulvaney and Sophia Bush, also shared some of her sentiments.
