Former lovebirds, Pete Davidson and Kim Kardashian have met again. The pair reconnected at the recently held 5oth anniversary celebration for Saturday Night Live. The event took place on Sunday, February 16, 2025. The pair were seen talking to each other at the after-party. This is coming almost 3 years after they split in 2022. Could they get back together?
According to reports, the possibility of renewing their romance isn’t on the table. Their discussion at the event was also reportedly normal. There was no romantic element in it. “He has nothing but love and respect for Kim,” a friend of Davidson told journalists. “He hopes everyone can move on,” he added.
It was a constellation of stars at the Saturday Night Live party. The show has survived through 50 years and this feat was deserving of the most star-studded celebration. Many celebrities attended the event which was a festival of music and comedy. Kim Kardashian was one of the people on the guest list as she had previously hosted the show.
Of course, Pete Davidson couldn’t be left out. The 31-year-old actor and comedian joined the popular sketch comedy show in 2014. He blessed the show with his skills and talent for eight seasons till he left in 2022. Since then, he has focused more on his acting career, landing a number of high-profile roles and brand deals.
In December 2024, Davidson appeared in an Instagram video with New York Magazine. There he reminisced about his time at SNL and what he did with his first paycheck. “My biggest indulgence after my first ‘SNL’ paycheck? … It’s like three grand an episode. I think I got dinner,” he stated.

Pete Davidson and Kim Kardashian meeting at the SNL 50th anniversary isn’t the first time they will be meeting in public this year. They previously met at Chris Rock’s 60th birthday celebration. The event held at the steak house Crane Club in New York City on Saturday, February 15, 2025.
There, Kim Kardashian slayed with a curve-clinging nude bodysuit. She wore the suit under a fur coat. The 44-year-old arrived under an umbrella held by her bodyguard shielding her from the rain.
According to a source with close ties to Davidson who spoke to the press in October 2024, the comedian was still great friends with Kim Kardashian. “He and Kim still talk occasionally. He’s a good guy,” the insider said. The source also stated that the case is the same with all of his other exes. “They root for him,” the indivi dual stated.
They previously met at the 2022 Met Gala. The pair wore matching pajamas and took photographs together. They met again at the 2023 edition, but this time, they arrived separately at the New York venue.
Photos taken at the SNL 50th anniversary party showed Kardashian and Davidson speaking to each other as well as to RnB crooner, Usher. At one instance, the reality TV star also appeared to take hold of Davidson’s hand while they spoke.
Is Pete Davidson Still With Kim Kardashian?
Pete Davidson and Kim Kardashian have since parted ways. To date, they are still not with each other. The comedian met the reality TV star on October 9, 2021. On that day, Kardashian hosted her first SNL. She took part in a number of skits on the show and even kissed Davidson in one of them.
That same month, indications surfaced that a relationship was brewing between the two. They were seen on multiple occasions, including in November 2021 when they had dinner together in Staten Island. But it was in February 2022 that their romance was confirmed. Davidson called her his “girlfriend” during an interview.
Sadly, the relationship ended that same year. The pair split in August. According to a source, they separated because of their busy schedules. The source stated that they didn’t have sufficient time for each other. “They both travel all the time and it was hard.”

They finalized their divorce in June 2013. Kardashian then began her rollercoaster relationship with hip-hop legend Kanye West. Their romance started in 2011 after Kardashian announced her split from Humphreys. They had their first child, North, in June 2013. They then got married in May 2014 in Florence, Italy. Thereafter, they had three more children, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm, before they divorced in 2021.
