Donald Trump may be in danger of having another lawsuit filed against him. In a recent post online, the former president issued a statement in which he appeared to call out a woman, although he didn’t mention her name.
On his social media platform, Truth Social, Trump wrote about a woman he called a liar and some people out to destroy the nation. Although he did not mention any name, people have come to guess that the woman in question is E. Jean Carroll. Carroll has brought defamation lawsuits against Trump on two separate occasions, both of which she won.
In the post, he referred to the judges that presided over the second defamation suit as human scums. Experts are now expecting another lawsuit as the post has gotten the attention of Carroll’s attorney, Roberta Kaplan. Kaplan has stated that her team is weighing the possibility of filing a third defamation suit against the Republic Candidate.
In the statement she released, Kaplan said that since the previous jury decision in January 2024, all possibilities were open, something they’ve reaffirmed severally. The post was made on Memorial Day, May 27, 2024. Trump also threw shade at key figures who have been parties to all his legal woes, past and present.

Carroll had made allegations against Trump, accusing him of sexually assaulting her in the 1990s. She claimed that the Republican candidate raped her in the dressing room of a department store. Trump subsequently denied the allegations, claiming she was not his “type.” Consequently, Carroll brought a defamation action against him in 2019.
Trump claimed he had never met Carroll before, despite a picture of them shaking hands in 1999. He said that a brief handshake at a celebrity gathering does not mean anything. Trump went on to assert that Carroll had no idea when the sexual assault, as she claims it happened in either 1995 or 1996.
He went to inquire why she did not file a police report at the time of the incident or present the dress she was wearing at the time of the incident. He made the statement after Judge Lewis Kaplan denied the request for DNA testing made by Trump’s attorneys.

She filed a second defamation lawsuit in November 2022, alleging defamation and sexual assault. A jury found Trump guilty of defamation and sexual abuse in May 2023, ordering him to pay Carroll $5 million in damages, though it rejected the claim of rape.
Carroll received an additional $83.3 million in damages from Trump after the second defamation action went to trial in January. Kaplan maintained the decision in April 2024 and denied Trump’s request for a fresh trial in Carroll’s case.
This comes as Trump’s hush money trial comes to an end. Trump faces 34 charges for manipulating business documents at his organization to hide damaging stories during his 2016 campaign.

The accusation, which is a crime, stems from payments made to Michael Cohen, Trump’s former attorney. Stormy Daniels received a payment of $130,000 from Cohen to halt her claims about having an affair with Trump.
Trump maintains that the payments to Cohen were for lawful services and has entered a not-guilty plea. Additionally, he has refuted the reports of his alleged affair with Daniels.
