Who Was Sheila Marie Ryan?

Sheila Marie Ryan was an actress, model, mother of Scott Cann, ex-lover of singer Elvis Presley, and ex-wife of actor James Cann. In her lifetime, she was a well-known American actress and model who starred in several movies.

Her Hollywood career was successful, and it got better when she started going out with Elvis Presley. Sheila’s entanglement with the star singer earned her many high-profile modeling gigs, including a feature on the cover of Playboy in October 1973. Her romantic relationship with Elvis lasted two years, but they never married.

She later married famous actor James Cann on January 12, 1976, and they were married for 21 years until their separation on December 7, 1997. During that time, Sheila and James had a son, Scott Caan. He was born in Los Angeles, California, on August 23, 1976, and has a successful career. Following their divorce, James Caan remarried while Sheila adopted a more private lifestyle.

Who Is James Caan, Sheila Marie Ryan’s Ex-Husband?

Born in the Bronx to Sophie (Falkenstein) and Arthur Caan, Jewish immigrants from Germany, James grew up in a household where his father worked as a meat dealer and butcher. He showcased his athletic prowess by playing football at Michigan State University while pursuing studies in economics.
