Brittish Williams and Lorenzo Gordon’s Relationship

Williams and Gordon were great together. So great that they were considering marriage. After Gordon proposed in 2014, fans expected to hear wedding bells, but that never happened.

Indeed, their engagement was called off, and according to sources, Williams called for the split. Apparently, she found out that Gordon was unfaithful, which was a deal breaker for her. In a now-deleted Instagram post in 2016, Williams revealed how she caught her man talking to other women.

In the same post, she claimed that her grandmother had also overheard a woman discussing spending time with Gordon while they were engaged. Things have been dicey between the former couple since their breakup, but they have a child together, so their lives will remain forever bound. It’s not an easy pill to swallow, as they have bad blood between them from their breakup.

In 2020, Gordon claimed that Williams’ boyfriend had threatened to harm him in front of their daughter. By then, it was clear that the two were never getting back together, and they have since moved on while co-parenting their kid.

What Happened to Brittish Williams?

According to a statement released by the U.S. Attorney’s Office of the Eastern District of Missouri, Brittish Williams admitted to five counts of misuse of a Social Security number, four counts of bank fraud, three counts of making false statements to the IRS, and three counts of wire fraud.

Some of the crimes Williams allegedly admitted to include underreporting her income on tax returns between 2017-2019; falsely claiming her niece and nephew as dependents, which led to $29,366 in taxes owed; and using Social Security numbers not her own to open bank accounts and lines of credit, and deposit checks taken from other peoples’ accounts behind their backs, amounting to $23,850 in losses.

Ultimately, the DOJ calculated almost $446,000 in losses thanks to her fraudulent actions. She is scheduled to be sentenced on August 23, 2023, and faces years in prison.

Charges of misusing a Social Security number and making false statements carry a potential penalty of up to five years in prison and a $250,000 fine. Bank fraud charges carry penalties of up to 30 years in prison, a $1-million fine, or both.

The wire fraud charges carry a penalty of up to 20 years in prison and a $ 1 million fine. She may face over 70 years in jail and is already over 30. That math spells disaster, but her fans hope the court will be lenient.

Other famous faces with such brushes with the law include Tim Allen, Lindsay Lohan, and Martha Stewart.
