Suzy Perez was born on November 2, 1979, in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. She began her modeling career at 16 after she won a modeling contest in her hometown. Although there are no details about her early life, she moved to the United States to pursue a career in the entertainment industry.

Luck shone on her, and she soon landed gigs as a video vixen and backup dancer for several celebrities in the music industry. However, she rose to fame after she served as a backup dancer for multiple-award-winning singer Jennifer Lopez. In addition, she also appeared in several music videos of rapper and music producer Sean Combs, famously known as P.Diddy.

Perez’s striking features and dance talent made her the ‘it girl’ for most music video directors and fans. She always received praise from fans whenever she appeared in music videos. Aside from her music video appearances, the Dominican-born actress appeared on magazine covers and became known as duvet queen by fans.

Similarly, others reported the mafia forced her into a prostitution ring in Europe and exposed her to drugs. Although she disappeared immediately after her contract ended, she resurfaced years later.

Univision’s Genela Solano found her in the streets of New York in 2019. Solano found her homeless and battling a drug addiction. While discussing with the Univision television producer, Perez revealed that she had a son while she was doing okay, and her child is the best thing that happened to her.
