“Unbreak My Heart” singer Toni Braxton called out her sister, Tamar Braxton’s ex-boyfriend, in an Instagram post.
It appears the Braxton sisters are on edge over an undisclosed disparity involving Tamar Braxton’s Nigerian ex-boyfriend, David Adefeso. In a new development, Singer Toni Braxton called out the financial adviser on Instagram, referring to him as a weasel. She shared:
“David, You Weasel… You Ferret… You are beyond contempt. Once again, do not include my children in your SHENANIGANS. Please leave my family alone.
Although the reason behind the outburst remains unclear, a representative of Adefeso has stepped out with a counter-response to Toni’s online confrontation. He divulged:
“David wishes Braxton family nothing but the best and has moved on from this ordeal stronger. He’s focused on justice for Nigeria (sars) and releasing his app, Sootchy.”
From the looks of it, the Braxton sisters seem to think otherwise. Since David Adefeso accused Tamar of hitting his neck while he was driving, the Braxtons have been at loggerheads with him.
Tamar Braxton, who earlier on sang praises of her then-boyfriend, thanking him for saving her life, called his bluff. Following his claims of domestic violence, the television star disclosed that he was, in fact, the one who became violent on the said day.
She recounted how he grabbed her cruelly and threatened to kill them both. Since the frenzy began, Tamar’s sisters and other family members have shown their support for Tamar.
Trina Braxton, Tamar’s elder sister, was the first to come for the Nigerian mogul, letting him know that an attack on her little sister was an attack on all the Braxtons. Towanda also joined her sisters in shading Adefeso via a comment on Toni’s post. It read:
“He’s sooooo wack… Such a loser boy!!”
The Braxton-Adefeso feud has left fans confused, as Tamar reportedly owed her life to her former beau after saving her from a suicide attempt in July.
Toni Braxton’s heated post comes weeks after the Nigerian native David Adefeso filed a restraining order against Tamar.
Court documents showed that Adefeso cited domestic violence in his filings, with reference to their earlier confrontation.
Tamar, who admitted the attempt on her own life, saying it resulted from 11 years of pain imposed on her by stardom, denied her ex’s claims of domestic violence.
The back-and-forth frenzy between the estranged exes might be confusing, but the media is sure having a field day watching it play out.
