Legendary singer Pink celebrated her fifteen wedding anniversary with husband Carey Hart via a heartfelt social media post.
After fifteen years of marital bliss, songstress Alecia Moore, stage-named Pink, and her husband, Carey Hart stormed Instagram in style to celebrate their wedding anniversary. The 41-year-old singer shared a series of photos, alongside the caption:
“15 years. Proud of us babe. See, sometimes being stubborn pays off. What a wild ride it’s been once we learned how to stay in our race line. Here’s to at least the next 15 months.”
She went on to reaffirm her love for her husband of fifteen years, and the rest of her family. Fans of the singer followed suit, declaring their love for the singer’s family while dishing out anniversary wishes. One wrote:
“I love you guys together. And your beautiful family. I’ve always rooted for you two. Happy anniversary.”
The pictures featured the icon and Hart, enjoying romantic moments together at various points in their lives. The first shot was of the singer and her husband cuddled up closely, with Hart’s arm wrapped around her.
For the second, the two lovebirds dressed up junkie-style as they posed for the camera. In another pic, the duo could be seen laughing passionately, while the next featured them posing on a yacht as they cruise out at sea.
One shot showed Pink strolling behind her husband, with her child secured in front of her in a baby carrier. Saving the best for the last, the singer showed off her beautiful family of four, with Hart carrying their son, Jameson, while her daughter, Willow, rode comfortably on her back.
Since their January 2006 marriage, Pink and Carey Hart have been somewhat inseparable. Although the couple experienced some pitfalls, like their near-separation in 2011, they managed to scale through, emerging stronger than ever.
They have also dealt with their fair share of health travails, including Hart’s rotator cuff tear, which required him undergoing surgery last August. Through it all, the lovebirds credit their long-lasting marriage to couples’ therapy.
Their heartfelt wedding anniversary comes months after the duo gushed about their love for each other on social media while recounting how couples’ therapy saved their marriage.
The post, which featured the sweethearts locked in an embrace reflected on the perks of their “awful,” “wonderful” union. She also explained how their relentless, stubborn idealism kept them going strong to date.
After painting marriage as an emotion-packed affair, the music legend urged couples to seek out therapy during the lowest points of their marriage, to learn to be whole once again, and build a loving family.
Seeing as Pink and Hart are going strong even after fifteen years, there’s definitely a lot of takeoffs from the couple’s rulebook.
