Since he was appointed president, Joe Biden has been trying to find the best solution to the U.S. migration crisis.
However, several factors have caused him to remain unsuccessful despite all his efforts. While battling against authorities who would instead deport all immigrants and close all borders, he is also fighting against those who are migrating illegally.
This led the president to implement several border policies in the past year. State governors have followed suit, even though some would prefer not to.
However, the creation of these policies has led to the creation of a secret migrant camp in San Antonio, Texas. This secret camp has been running for over eight months without the government’s knowledge.

It houses hundreds of migrants, and it is located in an airport hangar hidden from the public view. According to reports, this hanger is funded with taxpayers’ money and is at their expense. Moreover, the exact conditions of this camp are not known yet.
This is because public officials have not been inside yet. Why? They’re just finding out, too!
It is both impressive and concerning how this camp has been running for so long without the authorities finding out. “When I found out about this, I lost my mind,” San Antonio City Council member Marc Whyte said. “What the hell is going on next to the airport? Any expansion of migrant holding facilities I, of course, am adamantly against,” he added.

It has also caused a lot of worry among government officials. As the government faces migration problems from all angles, a discovery only raises more questions. How many more secret camps are there? And how long have they been running illegally?
Surprisingly, some sources say this center is not totally unknown. They claim the federal government reimburses the costs for this “top secret” shelter, which reportedly houses women and children.
An email sent out by the city said, “Some migrants may spend less than 24 hours at the Airport Transit Center while others may spend more than 24 hours at this facility. Migrants are transported from the ATC to the Airport in time for their departure and are provided with information and assistance to get them to their gates.”
Without a doubt, the Texan government is not happy about this. Republicans and other conservatives are also against this secret camp. A republican representative, Tony Gonzales of Texas, had his two cents to give in a recent interview. He said, “They honestly don’t want to talk about it. They will try to get away with whatever we let them get away with.”

Comments like this show just how much the Republicans are against a lot of President Biden’s decisions on the migration crisis. Many believe he is aiding illegal migration into the country, and his attempts to curb excesses have been unsuccessful.
For example, the DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals) program was implemented to help migrating children. However, most Republicans believe it should be scrapped as soon as possible because it “encourages unlawful immigration.”
Clearly, the president has a lot of work to do before this migration crisis becomes unstoppable.
