Netflix to Stream Its Most Awaited Sequel Series This Year

Are you ready to play? Squid Game Season 2 is almost here! Netflix will release its most anticipated sequel later in 2024. After the immense success of the first installment, fans around the world have been waiting for the second season since 2020.

The announcement of the second season of Squid Game broke the internet as many fans worldwide were ecstatic. The cast began filming in July 2023, with many fan-favorite characters returning.

Seong Gi-hun is confirmed as well! There will also be a couple of new faces that people will love. However, the producers have not released the exact date yet. All we know for now is that it is sure to be 2024.

Most believe it will be in the last quarter of the year, but we’ll have to wait to see. While the world awaits the sequel of one of the most successful Netflix shows, there are many more interesting shows coming this year.

Take the new season for Bridgerton, for example! Fans eagerly await the story of Penelope and Colin as it promises to be one of the most eventful stories in its history. After the immense success of the spin-off Queen Charlotte, the Bridgerton series is back to following the stories of the initial family.

This third season will be released on May 16th for viewers to enjoy. Other series to look out for are Avatar: The Last Airbender, The Diplomat, F1: Drive to Survive, and Guy Ritchie’s The Gentlemen. They will release the latter in March 2024, and it will run for eight episodes.

The highly anticipated 3 Body Problem series and the sci-fi book adaptation are also coming really soon. Fans can’t wait to have it from the team behind Game of Thrones by March 2024.

What’s more, movie lovers are not left out. Many blockbusters are coming to Netflix this year. Some of the most notable ones are The Old Guard 3, Code 8: Part II, Players, Mea Culpa, and many more.

Spellbound, Orion and the Dark, and The Witcher: Sirens of the Deep are good options for those who prefer animations. Reality TV is also never a bore with Netflix. 2024 has reality series such as Love is Blind Season 6, Vanderpump Rules Season 11, RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 16, and many more!

To top it all off, WWE is coming to Netflix soon! From the beginning of 2025, Netflix will be the new home of WWE wrestling and include all of the show’s live broadcasts. WWE Raw will also be exclusive to the platform from the start of the year.
