Megan Fox has officially acknowledged that her engagement to rapper Machine Gun Kelly (MGK) ended last year. However, despite discussing various topics openly during an interview on Alex Cooper’s “Call Her Daddy” podcast, the actor chose not to disclose the current status of her relationship with the musician. Instead, she stated that it was “not for public consumption.”
Although the relationship between the “Transformers” star and the musician seems complicated, Fox still refers to him as her “twin soul.”
“I think that what I’ve learned from being in this relationship is that it’s not for public consumption,” she told Cooper. “I think, as of now, I don’t have a comment on the relationship status, per se. I can say that he is what I call my ‘twin soul,’ and there will always be a tether to him, no matter what.”
“I can’t say for sure what the capacity will be, but I will always be connected to him somehow,” the “Jennifer’s Body” star added. “Beyond that, I’m not willing to explain.” Their relationship caught the media’s attention due to their public displays of affection.

The duo debuted as a couple in June 2020, after their second encounter on the set of their movie “Midnight in the Switchgrass.” “I looked into his eyes and was like, ‘Oh yeah, it’s you. I’ve known you for a thousand years,'”
Fox recalled. Fox and MGK, born Colson Baker, initially announced their engagement in January 2022. The “Jennifer’s Body” actor disclosed that they had celebrated the event by sharing a ceremonial act of drinking each other’s blood.
This gesture sparked an uproar online, with many criticizing them. “What is so gross about what I did with my soulmate? She joked to Cooper, questioning the criticism surrounding the intimate act she shared with MGK.

However, rumors of a breakup began to spread by February of the following year. This speculation was fueled when Fox deleted all their photos together on Instagram. She also shared a cryptic post quoting Beyoncé’s “Lemonade” track, “Pray You Catch Me.”
The song was synonymous with cheating. “You can taste the dishonesty/It’s all over your breath,” she wrote, captioning photos of herself and a video of a burning envelope.
But then, it seems that the two celebrities have reconciled even though Fox says their official status remains private. One of their recent public appearances was at a Super Bowl afterparty in February, where they were photographed alongside Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift.
Furthermore, Fox confirmed her presence at one of MGK’s recent tattoo appointments. He emerged from the session with striking blackout tattoos covering much of his shoulders, chest, and arms. The musician described the transformation as “For spiritual purposes only” when he shared it for the first time on Instagram in February.
“He has a really special story behind why he did that, which obviously, I’ll leave for him to tell,” Fox informed Cooper regarding MGK’s new appearance. She mentioned that he decided to cover up his old tattoos because some evoked conflicting emotions. “Whatever they represented — and I don’t actually know — but he didn’t like to revisit those memories of some of the tattoos that he had, and he wanted to get rid of them.”
