Jake Paul and his brother Logan drew attention with a promo that looked like they were preparing for a brawl in the ring. It was to promote “Paul American,” their new reality show for Max, which follows the two throughout their antics, including the lead-up to Jake’s fight against Mike Tyson.
Jake and Logan both got their beginnings on Vine in 2013, but they have come a long way since then. Jake starred in the Disney Channel series “Bizaardvark” and created Team 10, a group of YouTubers that had the competition shaken.
For his part, Logan pivoted to YouTube after the end of Vine, but after many controversies, he switched to creating the sports/energy drink Prime and his own podcast.

In the trailer for “Paul American,” Jake and Logan don’t hide the fact that controversy follows them the way ants follow sugar. “I’m uncancellable,” Jake declared while puckering his lips. “We’ll put that to the test, brother!” Logan hit back.

While many suspect the program may have to do with boxing, there have been no updates about it on BoxRec, so nobody knows for sure.

Why Was Jake Paul Canceled?
Jake Paul has faced multiple accusations of sexual misconduct from several female YouTubers who alleged he coerced them into sexual acts under the guise of career advancement. In April 2021, a video shared via YouTube by TikTok creator Justine Paradise detailed Jake’s alleged assault against her, as well as the events leading up to the incident.
Paradise claimed she and Jake texted for the whole month of July 2019 until he sexually assaulted her at his house. She went into extreme detail in the video, providing screenshots and an explicit retelling of the assault itself.
The allegation was one in a string of many heinous controversies currently following Jake. His boxing career has also been very controversial, as he often fights non-professional or retired athletes, which some think undermines the sport’s integrity.

Jake has been repeatedly criticized for his disruptive behavior, both online and in public. His refusal to change has contributed to why he is one of the most hated personalities out there. Other controversial feats he has been linked to include hosting cash-grabbing “influencer classes” and making girls sign non-disclosure agreements before sexually assaulting them.
Hopefully, his new reality show will shed some light on why he has been canceled.
