Simon Guobadia Apologizes to His Family for His Online Tussles Amid Divorce With Porsha Williams

Simon Guobadia seems to have gained more popularity recently for someone who isn’t a reality TV star. He has gained popularity just by discussing his divorce from Porsha Williams, the “RHOA” star. Since Guobadia and Williams ended their 15-month marriage, they’ve been cussing themselves out online.

None of them seems ready to give up the fight. Just when we thought there was light at the end of the tunnel, Guobadia decided he didn’t love peace. During the early hours of May 31, the RHOA star’s ex-husband decided to apologize to his family for his online tussles amid his divorce from the reality TV star.

Somehow, we all thought it would end with the apology, but he went on to make some comments on a statement his ex-wife made.

A day after exchanging words with Porsha Williams, Simon Guobadia apologized to his family via his Instagram page. In his post, he stated that his life wasn’t a storyline but a story of perseverance.

Guobadia added a caption to his post, talking about his family’s integrity, and then apologized. “The Guobadia Family has always been a prideful family,” he wrote. “Probably one of the largest families in Nigeria. Our name is literally tied to one single family. Meaning that most people with the last name ‘Guobadia’ are related.”

“So when one of their family members is reduced to a ‘Storyline,’ thousands of family members are also affected by the narrative created and meant to destroy,” he added. “I want to publicly acknowledge and apologize to my family, the GUOBADIAs, for the pain my poor judgment may have caused and brought upon our family name.”

“I’m so sorry. I beg for your forgiveness,” Guobadia wrote. After apologizing to his family, he decided to respond to Williams’ comment where she called him a sassy man. For all we know, he called Williams “a pig in lipstick.”

In response to the “RHOA” star, he said calling a man sassy simply means that women are weak and emotional, and that’s definitely not good for “our community.”

Social Media Users Respond to Guobadia’s Apology to His Family

Just after Guobadia apologized to his family, The Shade Room reposted the entrepreneur’s apology on its Instagram page. An Instagram user said, “You married a reality TV star that you met on a reality TV while cheating on your girlfriend who was also on a reality TV show…you been a storyline…now it’s a problem shut up!”

Another Instagram user couldn’t help but ask why Williams brought Guobadia to the public eye. Another wrote, “Well… the Nigerians in the comments don’t know who his family is.” Another Instagram user seems tired of the drama between the two parties. The user asked how they could stop getting news about the former couple.

Guobadia Responds to Porsha Williams’s Comment About His Citizenship

Porsha Williams is tired of letting Guobadia have the upper hand. She’s pretty displeased that her ex-husband is ruining her reality TV career. Rather than stay quiet anymore, Williams is all set to drag Guobadia and get him deported if possible.

On May 29, she asked her followers an interesting question. The American TV star wanted to find out if the green card of someone who faked their identity to get one is still valid in the US. This question was a subtle shade to Guobadia, and this isn’t the first time she’s been questioning the validity of his paperwork.

Guobadia sure didn’t stay quiet. He responded to the comment by throwing some shade at Williams. He said Williams gave up her US citizenship to avoid paying tax. He also told Williams to stay in her lane. Guobadia says she has a mediocre mind, so understanding complex immigration won’t be easy.
