Getting lost in the shadow cast by your family’s legacy is easy. Amanda Kate Lambert knows how this feels. She is the daughter of famous singer Nancy Sinatra, the daughter of legendary musician Frank Sinatra.

Her mother has achieved a lot in her career as a singer, and Frank Sinatra has many achievements. As such, Amanda is often introduced by her ties to her well-established family, even though she has a pretty great life herself.

Keep reading to learn more about Amanda Kate Lambert and her life as a descendant of a highly-rated lineage.

She is the second daughter of Nancy Jr. and Hugh Lambert. According to her birth certificate, she was born on St. Patrick’s Day, March 17, 1976. Her mother fell in love with her at first sight and considered her a “perfect little girl” and a “delight.” When Amanda got old enough, she attended Beverly Hills High School.

She shared a close bond with her father. He loved photography and would always encourage her to appreciate it, too. Hugh Lambert was many things, including a dancer, choreographer, producer, and military veteran. He is best known for his work on the variety show “The Ed Sullivan Show.”

Hugh passed away at age 55 from cancer on August 18, 1985. Nancy, his wife, claims he was the “love of her life” and has not remarried. The talented singer retired from her multi-million-record-selling career to be there for her two kids. However, she has made several comebacks over the years.

Amanda Kate Lambert and Frank Sinatra’s Relationship

While most other people could only love the famous Frank Sinatra from far away, Amanda Kate Lambert got to spend time with him as his grandchild. In the biography Nancy made for her father, she mentioned Frank’s intuitive interactions with her kids.

Unlike other adults, she said Frank was never rude to the children. Amanda and her siblings often spent the significant holidays with Frank, and they loved it. It was partially thanks to the times she spent with Frank, a hobbyist painter and photography lover, that Amanda developed a passion for the arts.

Frank taught her painting techniques and how to use a camera, among other things. She once recalled the memory:

“We were sitting around the pool in Palm Springs, and he showed me how to load film, pull out the picture, and then talked to me about being patient to let it develop before pulling off the strip.”

In college, Amanda studied fine arts, focusing on painting, photography, and art history. As an artist, she hopes to leave a part of herself through her creative activities: “Even though they seem modest, they are part of me.”

Unfortunately, because she barely has any digital trail, there are scarcely any traces of her works on the internet. Her social media accounts have either been set to private or deleted, and her website is inactive. The most famous sample of her work is her artwork for her mother’s self-titled record.

“The best thing is that I have an amazing husband. He is the love of my life; he is my best friend. I’m lucky that I met him early on in my life, when I was 19, and he has always been there for me.”

Amanda resides in Los Angeles, where she has lived her whole life. She can be found strolling beaches, swimming, or surfing when not painting.

Aside from Amanda, Frank Sinatra had two other grandkids. Angela Jennifer Lambert Paparozzi was his eldest grandchild, and his only grandson was Michael Sinatra.
