According to Bon Jovi, the duo is absolutely fantastic. They reportedly had an intimate wedding with their small family. Bobby Brown looked gorgeous for the event, and her groom? He was as happy as he could be.

Notably, the couple first announced their engagement in April 2023. Their engagement story made everyone go “aww” when Jake, 22, proposed during an appearance on Jimmy Fallon’s show in March.

Prior to the proposal on the show, Millie Bobby Brown revealed that she and Jake Bongiovi bonded over their shared passion for diving, having earned their diving licenses together. Brown further revealed that it was underwhelming initially, but they soon “freaked out” excitedly. As she tried to show him the ring, it slipped off her finger and quickly sank. However, Jake’s mind-blowing dive to get the ring showed his determination to propose to his girl.

Despite a diver warning him about the potential dangers, he dove deep to recover the ring. Brown reflected on the experience, saying it symbolized their relationship: “We’re always going to have each other’s back, and if anyone drops the ball, we’ve got it.”

Notably, Jon Bon Jovi has been supportive of the young couple’s decision to marry despite their age. During an interview on SiriusXM’s “Andy Cohen Live” in May 2023, he emphasized that age isn’t the most important factor in a relationship.

He believes that finding the right partner and growing together is key. Bon Jovi added that all his children seem to have found partners with whom they can grow, and he expressed his approval of their choices.
