June 1 marked the beginning of Pride Month, and on this day, Adele had her “Weekends with Adele” concert. The concert took place at the Las Vegas Colosseum at Caesars Palace. During the concert, a concertgoer who wasn’t aware of Adele’s active support of the LGBTQ+ community made a comment that got a clapback from the singer.

As Adele performed on stage, the concertgoer said, “Pride sucks.” From a video we saw, the 16-time Grammy award winner didn’t hesitate to slam the concertgoer. As she sat at the piano, she yelled, “Did you come to my f—in’ show to say ‘Pride sucks? Are you f—ing stupid? Don’t be so f—ing ridiculous.” Her response to the concertgoer gained her some applause from the crowd.

Adele’s response might have been a shock to some fans who didn’t know that she has always been a big supporter of the LGBTQ+ community. In 2023, the 36-year-old songwriter wore a rainbow flag dress to her show in Las Vegas to celebrate Pride Month.

During the show, she mentioned that she’d be celebrating Pride Month throughout the month. However, before she even began performing, she said to her fans, “Happy Pride!” The incident that took place last year isn’t the only one that shows Adele’s support for the LGBTQ+ community.

Adele had a concert in 2022 at London’s Hyde Park. That was her first concert after being away for five years. Before the concert, the “Hello” crooner asked one of the staff members to make a deal with Jack Burns-Langton and his friend Dean.

The staff asked if the two friends would give up their pride flag in exchange for VIP access to Adele’s performance. Without hesitation, Burns-Langton and Dean accepted the deal. While Adele performed on stage, she waved the flag the staff got from Dean, and at some point, she had the Pride flag wrapped around her shoulders.

After she performed “Hello” and “I Drink Wine,” she paused to interact with the crowd. However, her focus was on the VIP section, where she asked, “Is there a Jack and Dean somewhere?” Jack responded, “Obviously, we’ve gone wild.”

June 1 isn’t the only time Adele has reprimanded her fans. In August 2023, the “Someone Like You” singer held her usual “Weekend with Adele” in Las Vegas. During the concert, the artist stopped performing after noticing that a security guard and another fan had requested that a fan who was singing along with her should sit down.

Upon noticing the issue between the guard and her fan, she yelled at the guard to leave him alone. The fan sat back in his seat. However, as Adele was about to conclude the song, she turned to the crowd and said, “You can stand up.”

As the audience began to stand up, the fan who got interrupted by the guard jumped up and screamed with excitement because Adele referenced him. While jumping, a staff member approached him to ask him to keep calm.

Adele saw this and didn’t hesitate to ask what was going on with him. “He’s been bothered so much since I came on for standing up. What’s going on with him?” Adele asked. Adele demanded that the fan be left alone. Then she turned and said to the fan, “They won’t bother you… you enjoy the show.”

After addressing the issue, she apologized to the crowd and mentioned that the guard had disturbed the guy throughout the show because he was sitting behind him. Unfortunately, fans will always be fans. As the conversation was going on between the guard and Adele, the guy brought out a selfie stick to record, and he posted it on his TikTok page.

We should expect an addition to Adele’s family after she wraps up her concert this month. In May, she told her fans that she wanted to have a baby after she was done with all her obligations and shows. The artist said she’d like to have a girl because she already has a male child with her ex-husband, Simon Konecki. Fans can’t wait to meet Adele’s “mini-me!”
