Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, is ready to go to jail if the “deep state” targets him. Musk said he’d go to jail if any U.S. government agency tried to censor content on X. He made this clear despite being a law-abiding citizen with a company that follows the rules.
“I would be ready to go to prison personally if I think a government agency is breaking the law in their demands on the platform,” Elon Musk said during a Sunday discussion with Alex Jones, the conspiracy theorist whose X account Musk reinstated.
Over the weekend, Musk changed his stance and allowed Alex Jones back on the platform after opposing it. He had initially refused clemency, citing concerns that the InfoWars host exploited the deaths of children for viewership.

Jones received a guilty verdict for promoting the shooting as a false flag operation staged by the government to justify taking away Americans’ guns. A court then ordered him to pay $1.4 billion in damages. During the Spaces conversation, he stated on the record that he now believed the shooting had indeed happened.
However, Musk needs increased traffic and engagement on the platform, especially since significant advertisers like Disney and Walmart have “boycotted,” as per Musk’s own words. Their concerns stemmed from the appearance of their ads next to neonazi posts.
With their spending withdrawn, the centibillionaire is concerned about X facing bankruptcy. Tristan Tate, the brother of alleged rapist and human trafficker Andrew Tate, enthusiastically expressed more excitement about Alex Jones being given a platform. This enthusiasm surpassed his joy upon learning Andrew was free to move about Romania.

Once back on X, Jones returned the favor by quickly predicting intelligence agencies were hatching assassination plots. He suggested they aim to take out former President Donald Trump, drawing parallels to the circumstances surrounding the assassination of John F. Kennedy.
“They already have the plans, the blueprints ready. I guarantee you they’re trying to poison him right now,” he said on Spaces, which was attended by Republican Presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy and self-described “proud islamophobe” Laura Loomer.
The InfoWars host warned that Musk was likely next on the list, suggesting the tycoon had scared the government bureaucracy. Jones cautioned Musk about someone slipping radioactive isotopes into his food.

“If they gun down Elon Musk, that only makes him bigger,” Jones said. “They don’t want to turn us into martyrs; they either poison you or they come to a murder-suicide — kill your wife, kill you — that’s a known deep state tactic.”
Musk, who has stated on the record that America is running out of conspiracy theories that didn’t later turn out to be accurate, acknowledged the risks he is taking. This comes as he crosses the collective powers that be.
“Some people are afraid to die, but I am not,” he told Jones.
