Famous bondsman, Dog the Bounty Hunter is married again! Duane and his lover Francie Frane tied the knot a few months ago in an intimate ceremony.
Duane Dog Chapman is married and his new wife is no other than Francie Frane, his lover of two years. Dog and Frane got married at a private ceremony on September 2nd.
However, as blissful as the day was, it was clouded by the family drama between Dog and his daughters, Bonnie and Cecily Chapman. Still, the couple happily exchanged vows as they looked forward to forever. Here’s a look through their love.
How Did Dog And Frane Meet?
The couple’s relationship started shortly after Dog the Bounty Hunter’s wife, Beth Chapman lost her life to throat cancer in 2019. The family was devastated and Dog had publicly shared that he did not think he’d get married again.
However, things changed course and he met Frane. Dog and Frane bonded over the loss of their loved ones. Just like the TV personality, Frane lost her husband months prior to Beth’s passing.
She and Dog hit it off right from the start and soon went Instagram official. They occasionally showed off their love on social media and Dog’s daughters showed support. By May 2020, the two became engaged and were ready to walk down the aisle.
Once speaking about her engagement, Frane recalled the unexpected turn of events. She shared that she did not expect Dog’s actions. The Colorado rancher shared that she briefly left Dog so she could bring some food.
When she returned, Dog was all about serious talk. Frane relayed: “So when I came in I was like, ‘Wow, this is awesome.’ Then he said, ‘Come in, sit down because I need to talk to you.’ and he said, ‘I know that God brought you into my life and I don’t want to spend one moment of it without you.’”
Their Wedding Ceremony
Frane and her famous partner gathered their close friends and family at Colorado Springs for the exchange of vows. A source described the ceremony as “emotional and intimate.”
Another source earlier shared in August that the pair knew their relationship was special from the start. The insider added that Dog and Frane wanted to get married for a while but the COVID 19 pandemic posed to be a setback.
Dog himself gushed over his partner recalling how he knew she was “the one” almost immediately. The TV star added that he and Frane were looking forward to forever.
The 62-year-old added that it would not only be a wedding but a marriage. The star shared that he and Frane planned for her nuptials months ago, and were working on making it the perfect ceremony for them. This came amid his rift with his daughters.
The Drama Around The Wedding
Before Frane and Dog walked down the aisle, his daughters who once supported the union started showing their disapproval. Cecily and Bonnie claimed their dad did not invite them to his wedding.
Bonnie seemed to be disgruntled as she shared a series of angry addresses on social media. She claimed her father was racist. Bonnie also claimed that Dog cheated on the late Beth Chapman.
The back and forth had Dog firing back and disclaiming his daughter’s media accusations. He however did not clarify if Bonnie and Cecily were indeed not invited.
