Singer Beyonce Knowles is focusing on her joy as she graced the front covers of Vogue magazine in style. The 39-year-old looked glamorous as she posed for different shots in mind-blowing outfits for the December 2020 issue.
At thirty-nine, the hip hop queen, Beyonce Knowles has all it takes to capture the world at a single glance. And she is opting for a new approach to life as she prepares for her grand entry into the upcoming year. She noted:
“I’ve spent a lot of time building on my legacy and representing my culture the best way I know how. Now, I’ve decided to give myself permission to focus on my joy.”
She revealed this during an interview session with British Vogue’s Edward Enningful, as part of the magazine’s December 2020 issue. Reflecting on her decision to embrace the new approach, the 39-year-old said:
“It would be difficult to experience life in a pandemic and the current social unrest and not be changed. I have learned that my voice is clearer when I am still.”
Queen B graced the front covers of the issue, rocking at least three awe-inspiring outfits. For the first cover, the songstress donned a black Alexander McQueen evening jacket, with red details on the sides. She paired the outfit with a black tight and a matching pair of heels.
The second cover showed the singer in a more sultry light. She donned a sheer black Thierry Mugler bodysuit, complete with a blown-out blond wig. Beyonce tossed one of her legs in the air, showing off her flawless skin and a gorgeous black heel.
In another cover shared to the singer’s Instagram, she donned a lemon green unitard from her latest Ivy Park collection. The outfit sported a built-in bustier, highlighting the icon’s curves, giving her a chic appearance.
The color choice of the ensemble was a nod at her new resolve to keep upholding the joy. According to the star, the new joy-inspired collection came in colors that reminded people to smile. She explained:
“I used a lot of neon yellow and coral mixed with baby blue and earth tones that felt soothing. They brought me joy and made me smile in the midst of a tough time for all of us.”
Remarkably, Queen B is hardly the only royalty gracing the iconic magazine’s December issue. His Royal Highness, The Prince of Wales, would also have a spot in the publication.
Ahead of the release of the December issue, Edward Enningful disclosed that the prince granted him a zoom conversation earlier this year.
Over the call, the British prince shared details about his latest project, designed to empower students from the UK and Italy with experience in textile design.
Enningful affirmed that the prince would shed more light on the project in the special December edition. His expose would detail the progress on the course so far.
A slew of other stars graced the special edition set to hit magazine stands on November 6.
