A former Kamala Harris employee has revealed that Vice President Kamala Harris is not as impervious as we thought. Fox News’ “The Five” criticism of Kamala got on her nerves and even affected her mental health.
Some aides fear that the program’s consistent bashing of Harris can serve as a distraction and significantly affect her effectiveness in office. In their words, “It got in her head and caused high anxiety because they were constantly hammering her.”
The evening talk show hosts have never minced words expressing their less-than-palatable opinions on Kamala’s leadership, political history, and personal life.
In 2022, Jesse Watters, co-host of The Five, called out Kamala for her support of illegal immigrant amnesty and questioned her competence in handling the border situation. He stated that all she had done was “poke holes in a sinking boat.”

In the past, Jesse Watters also alleged that Kamala’s previous romantic relationships with government officials were responsible for the heights she has reached in politics.
Mid-last year, another co-host, Greg Gutfeld, expressed his lack of faith in Kamala’s leadership, stating that he found the thought of Kamala Harris taking over from Joe Biden frightening. This was after he referred to her as a ‘crazy cackler’ while publicly pleading with President Biden to swiftly recover from COVID-19 and stop her from assuming his role.

Axios further reported that the president, Joe Biden, is a loyal fan of MSNBC’s “Morning Joe.” Mr. President Biden appears to have developed a friendship with the show’s co-host, Joe Scarborough, and is reported to call him regularly to get his opinion on issues. President Biden has also consulted with some of the show’s panelists in the past.
For example, best-selling author and historian Jon Meacham has written several speeches for Joe Biden. MSNBC retracted its right to pay Meacham as a contributor following his failure to reveal he assisted in writing the speech Biden gave when he won the 2020 elections.
Kamala Harris and her husband, Second Gentleman Douglas Emhoff, are also big fans of MSNBC’s “Morning Joe.”

In 2021, Kamala granted Mika Brzezinski — Joe’s wife and co-host — an interview to launch Forbes’s “50 over 50” list. In January this year, Kamala and her husband were reported to have invited Scarborough and his wife, Mika Brzezinski, for dinner at the vice presidential residence.
One would expect the consistent bashing of Kamala Harris by the hosts of The Five to be enough reason for her to stay away from the show. It’s probably better to focus on opinions that preserve her mental health. Except, of course, if she can’t resist the temptation to know what others are saying about her.
