The renowned actor posted on his Instagram stories on Sunday, August 4, 2024, to share an update on his health with fans. In the image, Efron was weightlifting while resting his back on an exercise ball.
He captioned the image “Happy and healthy” before thanking the public for its well wishes and messages of concern.
A Representative Clarifies Zac Efron’s Accident
On Saturday, August 3, 2024, after the actor’s accident was announced, one of his spokespeople addressed the incident. According to the representative, Zac Efron had suffered an injury while he was swimming.
However, the injury was considered minor. Additionally, the representative revealed that the incident had taken place in Ibiza, where Efron had rented a villa. Subsequently, the representative added that Efron had only been taken to the hospital for precautionary reasons.
Fortunately, Zac Efron was discharged from medical care in the early hours of Saturday, August 3, 2024.
Did Zac Efron Drown?
No, he did not. According to reports, Efron was found unconscious in the villa’s pool by two workers. Subsequently, after discovering him, they pulled him out of the water, after which medical services were alerted. However, the report did not confirm what caused the incident or if the actor was at risk of drowning.

Zac Efron arrived in Europe for the 2024 Olympics in Paris, where he attended the event’s opening ceremony on July 26, 2024. On Thursday, August 1, 2024, he appeared on stage with DJ Martin Garrix during his session.

Born Zachary David Alexander Efron on October 18, 1987, the renowned star began his professional acting career in the early 2000s. Efron became well-known as a teenage idol after landing the main part of Troy Bolton in the “High School Musical” trilogy.
