Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith are staying together.
According to E! Online, the couple was pictured exiting Crossroads Kitchen in Calabasas, California, on Thursday, November 7, after dinner with mental health podcast presenter Jay Shetty. The “I Am Legend” actor, 56, donned a white T-shirt beneath a gray button-up and dark gray slacks. On the other hand, the “Girls Trip” actress, 53, wore a gold jacket over a white shirt and blue jeans.
The couple appeared to be in a pleasant mood as they walked together. In one photo, Jada leans in and wraps her arm around Will. The actors were last seen together in May at the Los Angeles premiere of Will Smith’s film “Bad Boys: Ride or Die.”
They were with their children Jaden, 26, Willow, 24, and Willard Carroll “Trey” Smith III, 31, who Will shares with ex-wife Sheree Zampino.

No, they are not. Despite their ups and downs, Will Smith revealed that he regarded his wife of over three decades as his “ride-or-die.” He mentioned that he has always been blessed. The actor added that there has never been a time when he did not look to the side and have a ride or die right there. He said that Jada is one of the most gangsta ride-or-die he has ever had.
The remarks come many months after Jada disclosed on Today, that she and Will had been separated since 2016, before the release of her memoir Worthy. Despite their ups and downs, she “made a promise that there will never be a reason for us to get a divorce.”
In October 2023, she told PEOPLE about her relationship with the “King Richard actor.” She stated that they were “still figuring it out” and had been “doing some really heavy-duty work together.”
Furthermore, in an interview with YOU Magazine, The “Matrix Resurrections” actress stated that seeing her husband smack Chris Rock at the 2022 Academy Awards made her understand that she “will never leave him.”

The couple initially met on the set of “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” in 1994 when she auditioned for the role of his onscreen girlfriend, Lisa Wilkes.

Although she failed to land the position, they began dating after the actor separated from Sheree Zampino. In an interview with PEOPLE in 1996, Will Smith mentioned that his connection with Jada came as a huge surprise. He explained that people do not realize the walls they build up in their minds and hearts until someone comes along and tears them down.
He added that, outside of his mother, Jada was the first person with whom he could share his thoughts and feelings so freely. The duo married on New Year’s Eve, December 31, 1997, in Baltimore, Maryland. Jada was three months pregnant at the time.
To prevent a media leak, the organizers did not send any invites. Instead, they accommodated the guests at the luxury Harbor Court Hotel and the Tremont Plaza. On the morning of the ceremony, the organizers handed the guests envelopes with limo driver directions.
Jaden Smith, the couple’s son, was born in July 1998. He was Jada’s first kid and Will’s second, following the birth of his son Trey with ex-wife Sheree Zampino in 1992.

During an interview with Oprah Winfrey in November 2021, Will acknowledged that he and Jada hit a hard patch in their relationship in September 2011. This was following an epic brawl during Jada’s 40th birthday celebration. (He spent years organizing it, and she thought it was a “ridiculous display of [his] ego,” he admitted.)
Will Smith mentioned that they realized it was a fantasy illusion to think they could make each other happy. As a result, they agreed that Jada had to make herself happy, and he had to make himself happy.
Then, they would return to the relationship already happy instead of demanding that the other person fill their empty cup.
