In August 2023, Sherri Papini was released from prison and placed in Sacramento County’s community confinement. Sherri Papini’s former husband is Kieth Papini. After Sherri was originally declared missing in November 2024, Keith was one of the main suspects in her disappearance. When Sherri’s phone was searched in 2016, investigators found private communications between Sherri and Donovan Miske from Michigan.
Investigators had originally believed that Sherri left Keith for Donovan Miske, her affair partner, confiding in him about Keith’s alleged wickedness. To prove his innocence, Keith volunteered for a polygraph, which he passed, effectively clearing his name. However, friends of the couple continued to question Keith’s innocence.
