“Flip or Flop” even sparked a spin-off, “Christina on the Coast, ” focusing solely on Chritina Haack. Sadly the couple’s marriage ended in 2018 after a dramatic incident.

Although they still appeared on “Flip or Flop” together, Christina moved on to doing some personal business. Below we’ll look at her life and how she’s doing financially.

Christina and Tarek’s Road To Fame

Christina and Tarek met while they were both working as real estate agents. As their relationship progressed, the pair started a real estate agency called “Tarek and Christina: The El Moussa Group” in California.

To get their first house, the couple partnered with Pete De Best and bought their first house for $115 000 in Santa Ana. After flipping the house, they earned a profit of $34 000. After the success of their first enterprise, Tarek and Christina subsequently expanded their housing business to Arizona and Nevada.

The couple also created their construction and design company in Southern California. Sadly things turned sour for the couple after the housing market crashed on the back of the October 2008 stock market crash.

It took another two years and six months behind schedule before the couple could successfully flip another house. In 2011 Tarek casually filmed himself flipping a home from start to finish. He later sent the clip as an audition tape to HGTV.

The producers loved the tape and signed the couple up for the weekly reality series “Flip or Flop.” The show was a massive success for both the couple and the studio.

Sadly in 2018, Christina and Tarek ended their marriage; however, they continued to film the show. They also continued to coach thousands of real estate students yearly through their ‘Real Estate Elevated” investment program.

Christina makes money from her career as a real estate investor and television personality.  Apart from her show “Flip or Flop” with ex-husband Tarek, she also began her reality series “Christina on the Coast” in 2019.

During the early season of “Flip or Flop,” Christina and Tarek earned around $10,000 per episode. By the third season, their pay rose significantly to $40,000 per episode and approximately $600,000 per season.

When Christina started her show, “Christina on the Coast,” her pay increased to $50,000 per episode. According to “Celebrity Net Worth,” as of 2022, Christina’s net worth is a respectable $25 million.

Christina Buys Expensive New House

Christina made headlines in 2021 when she dropped $10.3 million on a Dana Point Gated community mansion. However, she didn’t buy the house just to flex her financial power. Instead, the veteran real estate investor resold the house for $11.5 million in an off-market deal to entrepreneur Norm Christensen.

Christina paid precisely $12 million for a new home in Newport Beach this time.  The house, designed by Laidlaw Schultz Architects, sits on nearly 7,000 square feet of land. It boasts an “architectural tour-de-force” inspired by “midcentury icons,” according to the listings.

Christina reportedly wanted the house very much and bought it before it hit the market. Although there aren’t many pictures of the house, it is reportedly U-shaped and ultra-modern.

The property also features a courtyard with a swimming pool and a patch of grassy lawn. You’ll find imported terrazzo floors and a state-of-the-art movie theatre inside the house. The house also features a floating staircase and home automation systems.

“Flip or Flop” Ending After 10th Season

After divorcing Tarek, Christina began dating TV presenter Ant Anstead in November 2017 after a mutual friend introduced them. Christina and Ant’s relationship grew, resulting in marriage at their Newport home on December 22, 2018. The pair also became parents to a son, Hudson.
