As a result, the expectant couple learned about home births.
Steve revealed that he helped deliver the baby. However, he did it with a doula, a midwife, and a licensed Obstetrician/Gynaecologist. While the birth eventually went well, it almost took a tragic turn.
Shahi revealed in a podcast that when she had Violet, she came out blue and wasn’t breathing. The stunning actress added that Violet Moon Howey was delivered limp and had her umbilical cord wrapped tightly around her neck.
Steve revealed that, at this point, his life flashed before his eyes as he held his limp daughter. Things, however, took a good turn when the Ob/GYN flicked Violet’s feet, and she emitted a little cry.

While Violet Moon Howey is the only daughter of her parents, she has two brothers, William Wolf and Knox Howey.
