Former President Donald Trump commemorated Valentine’s Day with a heartfelt message to his wife Melania, which was sent as part of a fundraising email to his supporters.

“Dear Melania,” the letter starts. “I LOVE YOU! Even after every single INDICTMENT, ARREST, and WITCH HUNT, you never left my side. You’ve always supported me through everything.

I wouldn’t be the man I am today without your guidance, kindness, and warmth. You will always mean the world to me, Melania! From your husband with love, Donald J Trump.”

Recipients who clicked on one of three prominent red invitations titled “send your love” were provided with an opportunity to compose a “personalized message” to the former first lady, Melania Trump, along with the option to donate to Trump’s campaign.

The fundraiser was initiated by Trump’s Save America PAC Joint Fundraising Committee, which operates under the authorization of his campaign. Trump first met his third wife, Melania, at a party in September 1998, during the period when he was going through a divorce with his second wife, Marla Maples.

The couple got engaged in 2004 and exchanged vows in January 2005. They welcomed their only child together, Barron, in 2006. In response, Nikki Haley, Trump’s main Republican challenger, shared her own Valentine’s Day message for her GOP rival.

“Roses are red, violets are blue, I love dictators, and they love me too! Happy Valentine’s Day from Donald Trump to dictators around the world!” Haley’s presidential campaign conveyed in an emailed statement.

POLL—Should Public Schools Include Critical Race Theory and Sex Education in Their Curriculum?

In other news, former President Donald Trump has outlined ambitious plans to overhaul the federal government if he secures a return to the White House. These plans also include pledges to deport millions of immigrants residing in the U.S. unlawfully and to dismantle government agencies entirely.

Furthermore, Trump intends to dismiss tens of thousands of employees and replace them with individuals loyal to his administration’s agenda. Washington liberal organizations are supporting President Joe Biden and expressing confidence in Trump’s potential defeat.

However, they are also quietly working to establish safeguards in case of his return to power. A coalition of activists, advocates, and legal experts is advocating for new federal regulations to curb presidential authority.

They are urging Biden’s administration to take additional steps to safeguard his achievements and restrict Trump’s influence in a potential second term. These efforts are being conducted with much less publicity than the initiatives by Trump supporters, such as “Project 2025,” which aims to establish a conservative government-in-waiting.

Also, the Office of Personnel Management (OPM), the primary human resources agency of the federal government, intends to complete a rule by April aimed at preventing the reclassification of tens of thousands of workers to facilitate their dismissal, as stated by OPM spokesperson Viet Tran. It is anticipated that undoing this rule by a future administration would likely require several months or even years of effort.
