Only a few weeks ago, former president Donald J. Trump expressed his feelings of betrayal towards reality TV star and fashion enthusiast, Kim Kardashian. However, the reason might seem quite bizarre to many. During an interview with famous author and host Ramon Setoodeh, he said that he felt that Kim betrayed him by celebrating Joe Biden’s presidential victory back in 2020 with three blue heart emojis.
He continued, saying that he was “disappointed” in Kim because they got along well, and he had not expected that from her. He also noted that he got along with Kanye West at that time while he was still Kim’s husband. In fact, Trump said West had endorsed him even though he never voted in the 2020 election.
Trump claimed that he wasn’t expecting a lot from Kanye West who had also previously expressed his desire to run for president before he changed his mind but he had higher hopes for Kim. This was because he did a lot of prison reform that he claims Kim could not have gotten done without his help.
Then, when the time came, she didn’t endorse him because she wanted to be accepted by Hollywood. Kim has been a strong advocate for fighting for the rights of those who were wrongfully convicted and has dived into criminal reform, using her platform to get justice for people. At a later point in the interview, Trump corrected himself and said that “someone” had told him that Kim did not endorse him.

He never revealed who that someone was. However, most people were not surprised that Kim did not support or endorse Trump in 2020. Whike serving as host of “The Apprentice,” Trump fired Khloe Kardashian, the reality star’s younger sister, in 2009. In 2016, the Huffington Post ran a story that cited sources who said that Donald Trump had used a couple of derogatory words to describe Khloe.

The ex-president reportedly called her “the ugly Kardashian” and “a piglet.” While talking to Setoodeh during the interview, he also admitted that he never had a good relationship with Khloe as the two did not get along and had what he referred to as “little chemistry.” However, Trump still commented on her looks during the interview even after his first reported comments back in 2016.
According to Trump, she looks “much different today” after he saw her fairly recently. In addition, he said that Khloe looked “better” and that he only fired her from the show because it was her time to go. He also added that she was simply competing against very smart people who could also be vicious.

With his turbulent relationship with the Kardashians, it is no surprise that they still aren’t endorsing him in 2024. After Kanye West’s marriage to Kim ended, Trump’s relationship with West also got rocky. Eventually, Trump stopped being associated with West for his anti-semitic comments and affiliations. He called him a “seriously troubled man” whom he believed needed some help or intervention.
