The Early Part of Their Love Story
Taylor and Iman became acquainted in 2014 at a party, and it wasn’t love at first sight. In fact, Taylor had disliked his demeanor that night. She once noted in an interview that Iman had just gotten drafted into the NBA.
She described him as a party animal, and he drank a lot that night. In Taylor and Iman’s case, their second meeting did the trick. The pair eventually got to know each other better and became friends.
And by 2015, the singer and dancer started dating the basketball champ. Taylor and her man started preparing for parenthood in the same year, and by the fall of the same year, the rapper and Sportster proposed to his love.

Wedding Bells and Babies
Taylor and Iman became parents in December 2015 and wasted no time diving right into it. Their daughter, Junie, brought more light into their world and expanded the love in their home.
Junie joined her family at home, and Taylor confirmed that she had Junie at home and her husband was the make-shift doctor. Thankfully everything went fine with mother and child doing well.

While fans got to see details of their parenthood, the couple decided to keep their wedding ceremony to themselves. They tied the knot inside their Cleveland apartment, with their daughter by their side.
Iman and his wife opted for an unconventional ceremony, completely doing away with the traditional white dress and black tuxedo. The couple and little Junie rocked similar looks, including black jeans and red leather jackets.
Taylor and Iman became parents a second time last year in September. Their daughter, Rue Rose Shumpert, joined the family the same way her older sister was born. Taylor has both daughters in her bathroom with Iman playing doctor.

Teyana and Iman: A Power Couple
Teyana and her husband are multi-hyphenates, and when they are away from home, the pair work hand-in-hand to get “the bag.” Teyana and Iman worked together on Kanye West’s 2016 music video, “Fade.”
The pair were also seen collaborating on Teyana’s 2020 song, “Wake Up Love,” from her third studio album, “The Album.” The couple brought the magic of their family to TV in 2017, when they launched their show, “Teyana and Iman.”
The show aired on VH1 and ran for a season. These days the two are currently working on another show, “We Got Love: Teyana and Iman,” which will air on E!, where they would plan to show off their power couple moves.
