Star actor Brett Gelman of Stranger Things accused college administrators of allowing anti-Israel gatherings and campsites, saying that the protestors were given preferential treatment.
The Jewish-born actor & comedian, famous for portraying Murray Bauman in the Netflix sequence, stated that while he thinks students ought to have the right to free expression, he also thinks that resentful language and assault shouldn’t be accepted.
They ought to be banished. He said in a statement with TMZ. This would have been a shutdown if it were geared towards other categories of individuals or if they were prohibiting Black students, LGBT students, or women from accessing the school.
This would have been taken down right away. As it ought to be, he added. Following the October 7 tragedy incidents, Gelman has been vocal in his support of Israel and in reaction to the opinion he has faced squarely.

The reality is that these people barely notice the Jew’s suffering, and it absolutely shows their interest, he continued, addressing demonstrators who were against Israel.
Brett also criticized the behind-the-scenes demonstrators responsible for the protests and wondered why participants wore masks. I’m not a conspiracy believer, but it does appear to be somewhat oddly organized. Hence, it goes beyond feelings of outrage at violations.

This kind of organized action is not new, Gelman stated. It’s basically another repetition of what happened in the 1930s, prohibiting Jewish students from universities, he said.
Noah Schnapp, co-star in the series Stranger Things, has also received criticism for publicly supporting Israel in its conflict with Hamas. He got slanderous messages on the internet in November for taking pictures with stickers that read Hamas is Isis and Zionism is Sexy.

Schnapp told his fans that his belief is peace, protection, and stability for all involved and affected. That is his primary goal, and his detractors have misrepresented his views.
In a visit, Gelman lambasted Hollywood for being hostile and disregarding the abuse Jews experience while celebrating other minorities and groups of special interest. In addition, he claimed that a number of bookshops had canceled his book signings due to his vocal advocacy of Israel.
