Solange Knowles has spoken up about her “debilitating” battle with several autoimmune illnesses.
The “Losing You” singer stated in the comments section of artist Shaun Ross’ Instagram post regarding his postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS) diagnosis that she has had the chronic ailment since 2018, along with Sjögren’s syndrome and mast cell activation syndrome (MCAS).
Beyoncé’s younger sister offered a sincere message of love and strength to Shaun and everyone in the comments who is dealing with the severe, confused, and lonely symptoms of POTS.
She also gave a shout out to Dysautonomia International, a non-profit organization that aims to improve the lives of individuals with autonomic nervous system disorders via research, physician education, public awareness, and patient empowerment programs.
She praised the organization, saying they were an incredible resource for her, and expressed gratitude to the community for their support during her times of complete uncertainty.

This leads to dryness in the eyes, throat, mouth, and other areas. According to the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology, MCAS patients’ cells produce a chemical agent excessively frequently, resulting in allergic responses.
Symptoms may include swelling, trouble breathing, low blood pressure, and severe diarrhea. Going by these, it’s clear that Solange Knowles has not had it easy.
