“I truly believe there is power in being vulnerable and in telling people when you need help, when you want help,” Gomez stated in the speech she gave.

She underlined that discussing one’s issues is not something to be ashamed of. “That is not embarrassing. So, yeah, I mentioned that I am unable to carry a child. Yes, I stated that I have bipolar disorder.”

The actress added that her decision to publish such private information sprang from her desire to advocate for women. “I want to be honest because everyone is going through something,” she said.

Gomez, who has previously spoken openly about her mental health struggle, emphasized that embracing vulnerability is a sign of strength, not weakness. “Because that’s not lame; it’s so cool of you guys,” she remarked, encouraging others to own their personal stories.

Why Does Selena Gomez’s Voice Sound Different?

Fans and viewers have long debated Selena Gomez’s voice change. Some initially attributed the change to aging, implying that her voice had gradually deepened with time. Selena Gomez, on the other hand, confirmed that the change in her voice was not caused exclusively by age.

She said that she had been diagnosed with Lupus, a chronic autoimmune illness that can have a variety of health consequences, including a change in her voice. Lupus has been scientifically linked to alterations in vocal quality.

The voice can become hoarse, strained, quieter, or lower-pitched. This is hypothesized to be related to the cricoarytenoid joint, the only joint in the throat that the disorder can impact.

On the opposite side of the discussion, some argued that Selena Gomez’s voice change was a natural part of aging. They mentioned her lengthy career, which began at the age of ten, as a factor that may naturally influence vocal development over time.
