Professional golfer Rory McIlroy has filed a case of separation from his spouse, Erica, after seven years of marriage. TMZ News made this public. Other news media contacted the golfer for further information on the latest developments regarding his marriage. No response has been received yet.
The couple started their journey in 2015 after Mcllroy ended his relationship with Caroline Wozniacki, a tennis professional who was headed for marriage in 2014.
Mcllroy ended his relationship with Tennis professional Caroline three months before his triumphant victory in 2014 at Valhalla. This happened a few days before the marriage ceremony after invites had been sent out to the expected guests.
He informed the news media just before the championship game at Wentworth. His reason, as he stated, was that he didn’t feel he was prepared and in a good state of mind for it. Rory resigned from the PGA Tour leadership in November due to a disagreement between LIV Golf and the PGA so that management could sort out that bone of contention.
