The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince William and Kate Middleton, became first-time parents in 2013, two years after their marriage. Today, the royal pair are parents to three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.
The British royal family is as old as time itself, with new offsprings joining the long line of succession yearly. The second in the line of succession to the throne, Prince William, the Duke of Cambridge, started a family of his own since marrying Kate Middleton in 2011. They became parents two years later and have since welcomed three new additions to the royal line of succession.
Despite the responsibilities and media craze that comes with royalty, the royal couple is determined to give their children a normal upbringing. So far, they’ve done a great job, having three adorable little royals. Aged 7, 5, and 3 respectively, Prince William’s children, George, Charlotte, and Louis, have charming personalities that radiate kindness.
PRINCE GEORGE OF CAMBRIDGE
The first child of his parents, Prince George Alexander Louis of Cambridge, landed the planet on July 22, 2013. The little prince arrived at precisely 4:24 pm, at the St. Mary’s Hospital, West London. It took Middleton an eleven-hour labor period to birth her first son, who weighed 8 pounds and 6 ounces.
At birth, George assumed the title, His Royal Highness, The Prince of Cambridge. Prince George, now 7, became the third in the line of succession to the British throne, following his dad, Prince William, and grandfather, Prince Charles of Wales.
Prince George was the third of Queen Elizabeth’s great-grandkids, and the first grandson of Prince Charles, William’s dad. He is full of energy like most kids his age. He also has a liking for top-of-the-art dressings, hence his impressive “royal baby effect.”
PRINCESS CHARLOTTE OF CAMBRIDGE
Born Charlotte Elizabeth Diana on May 2, 2015, the little princess is the first and only daughter of the Cambridges. She weighed 8 pounds and 3 ounces following her birth at 8:34 am at the Lindo Wing of St. Mary’s Hospital.
The princess assumed the title, Her Royal Highness, Princess Charlotte of Cambridge at birth. In addition, she is the fourth in the line of succession to the British throne.
Charlotte, who is the only female among Prince Charles’ grandchildren, made history at birth, becoming the first British princess to retain her position in the line of succession. She is also the first princess to rank above a brother in the line, following the birth of Prince Louis. This followed the implementation of the Perth Agreement that ruled out male preference primogeniture in the royal family.
Princess Charlotte, now a five-year-old, has an amiable fun-loving personality, as seen in her numerous pictures and videos gracing the internet.
PRINCE LOUIS OF CAMBRIDGE
Prince Williams and Kate Middleton welcomed their third and youngest child, Prince Louis Arthur Charles, on April 23, 2018. He arrived at about 11:01 a.m London time, weighing 8 pounds, 7 ounces.
By his birth, Louis is the fifth in the line of succession to the throne, following his older siblings, his dad, and grandfather.
Prince Louis, who is now two years old, has made few public appearances since his birth alongside his parents. He has remained a happy royal baby so far, with lots of energy to keep the Kensington palace bustling all day long.
With three royal tots to dote on, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are sure to have their hands full.
