According to the outlet, 58 people have lost their lives on that highway in the past 14 years. It’s no wonder officials are cracking down on speeding cars on that oceanside road. Despite increased danger signs reportedly added along PCH earlier this year, speeding continues to be an ongoing problem in the area.

The cops keep finding cars exceeding limits as high as 110 mph along the route, which features twists, turns, and teeters on the edges of cliffs. In October 2023, four Pepperdine University students died on the highway. According to reports, their BMW lost control while going 104mph and hit a young woman.

His Speeding Ticket Reportedly Amounts to $400

According to Nerdwallet, the actor received a speeding ticket for 18 miles over the speed limit, which was almost $400. Following the speeding incident, “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” actor continued with his life, as the official trailer for his new “Bad Boys 4” movie went on air on Tuesday, March 26, 2024.

Michael Bay directed the first two “Bad Boys” movies. But for “Bad Boys for Life” and this new one, Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah were in charge.

As reported by TMZ, social media users reacted to news of the actor’s speeding ticket. Some saw it as no big deal as they assumed many people speeded, but few got caught. A User hilariously commented that Smith was trying to get away from his wife, Jada. “He was trying to get away from Jada.” One user claims the death toll on the said road is more than what the report says.

“Another motorcyclist was added; it’s up to 59… and that didn’t take into account the unincorporated 10mile section in Ventura County that has even more deaths than the official “Malibu” section,” a user claims. Another user jokingly refers to his character in his upcoming movie, “Bad Boys 4.” The user said, “Don’t they know that he is Miami PD Detective Mike Lawery?”
