Who Is Bob Odenkirk’s Wife?
Bob Odenkirk has been married to Naomi Yomtov for over 20 years. Not much is known about her family background or childhood, as she lives a very private life.
Most of the information available online about Naomi centers around her life after her marriage to Odenkirk. She was born and raised in the United States, just like her husband.
How Did Naomi Yomtov Meet Bob Odenkirk?
Naomi started to notice Odenkirk long before he fell for her. She first laid eyes on him in 1994 when she was working for William Morris.
She had stopped by the UnCabaret in West Hollywood, where she saw Bob perform for the first time, weaving a comedic story of being raised in the Midwest alongside six siblings and an absent, alcoholic father.
Naomi recalled: “A week later, I was driving around doing errands, and I thought, That’s the man I’m going to marry. It popped into my head just like that. I was disturbed at first; I wasn’t marriage-minded. I was very career-minded. But I couldn’t ignore this thought.”
She returned home that night and confessed how she felt to her roommates. However, she felt a little embarrassed she did not know him yet. When Naomi finally met Bob, it was on set, and he had seemed “disinterested” in her. That changed when he saw her again outside a comedy club in Santa Monica.
Naomi said: “I didn’t know why he finally noticed me. It’s not like I suddenly became his type. I still don’t think I’m his type, but we get along great.”
Their relationship quickly blossomed, and by 1997, they were married.
Naomi Yomtov Career
The talented woman is reportedly a producer. Her first gig as a producer saw her participate in the film adaptation of Michael Blieden’s stage play “Pyro-Giants! Melvin Goes to Dinner.”
In 2006, Naomi was an executive producer for two short projects, “Derek & Simon: A Bee and a Cigarette” and “The Pity Card.” She attracted early attention after producing several episodes of “Derek and Simon: The Show.”

Naomi Yomtov Is Her Husband’s Manager
Aside from her blossoming career as a producer, Naomi is her husband’s manager and has held the role for several years. Of course, managing Odenkirk’s demanding career has not been easy while ensuring their romantic life is not affected. When the comedian spoke about it in an interview, he revealed that it used to cause friction between them.
He said: “Yes, it’s hard. We figured it out years ago, but it was tough for a long time. Your manager’s job is to have opinions on the work you want to do and help you make choices and maybe be, in the case of Naomi, a brilliant, informed person with a point of view.”
Naomi Yomtov and “Better Call Saul”
When “Breaking Bad” creator Vince Gilligan reached out to Naomi because he wanted Bob to portray the lawyer Saul Goodman in the show’s second season, the comedian almost didn’t do it.
Odenkirk had not seen an episode before Gilligan called and was reluctant to take the role. However, Naomi was there to encourage him, pushing him to say yes.
Speaking about it, Naomi said, “He had to see himself through different eyes. On Breaking Bad, he just showed up as an actor. He didn’t write it; he didn’t create it. He faced a paradigm shift in his career from a director to a comedy creator. It was interesting to see him embrace an opportunity like that and go with it.”
Her husband took the role, and it became one he will never be forgotten for.
